I like our defensive line, but think we could use another pass rusher. This guy is a beast, an unrestricted FA and only 27. Imagine him on one side and JT on the other. Very smart player as well who could quickly pick up Saban's system. Would be interesting to know whether Saban is looking at this guy or not. With his addition, all we would need is a corner and we would be set on D in my opinion.

No, we're not going to be interested in him. He's not small and fast enough to be a good DE/OLB, and he's not big and strong enough to be a 2-gap DE/DT types. We've got plenty of those to begin with anyway.

Samuels of the Redskins disagrees with you, stating that Vander Bosch is deceptively strong and quick and just keeps coming. He's a baller and gets to the QB. Above all else, Saban relishes pressure on the QB, and this guy did that last year as well as anyone in the league.

We already have enough on our team it isn't necessary to get him. Besides, there are much bigger holes to fill than our end.

The physical mold he comes closest to pick is the same postion is the 2-gap DE, 1-gap DT mold. He's too small for that, and playing him as that would be taking him out of what he succeeded at this season to begin with. Instead of rushing the passer from the outside, he'd be playing the run first directly heads up on the tackle."Deceptively strong" is not going to get you by playing 2-gap 20-25 snaps a game.

This is true, he wont leave Tenn. We dont need him on our team anyway. OUr D-line is pretty damn good the way we are right now. Last year we looked good, now this season we can see what Manny and Roth will do with Taylor, Carter, and Holiday. We are sitting pretty fat right now

I don't think so. We have a good line right now, we don't really need to improve in this draft IMO.
