This guy has all the makings of a darkhorse. He has the physical attributes 6-5 and 275 pounds and he's quite athletic too. He's got pedigree too, as his brother Chad is a 12 year veteran and a considerable talent. Vann looks the part too. He seems eccentric, out of the ordinary, but in a good way. Remember Jason Taylor was a 3rd round out of Akron. Vann seems to have had some difficulty putting together enough consistancy to play big time college ball but do not say he wasn't wanted. I do not know the story behind it but again it seems like part of his eccentricity. If he has the competitive fire like his brother and the right coaching, this kid could be a special addition to this year's impressive talent makeover. He's in a great setup where he could come in at key moments and help tee off on the opposing QB's head ie glass baby doll Pennington's or soon to be broken in two Brady.

Hate to remind you, but how many DE's do you think we can keep on the roster, we have JT, D. Bowens, Holiday, M. Roth, Carter, and Flemings ahead of this guy.
 
gotta admit hes got the size saban wants in there.

Yea, but the others have the experience except for Roth, but he's a 2nd Round draft pick, me thinks he makes the roster if healthy at the end of PS.

Vann Brown was cut prior to the start of training camp.
 
I know he was cut, but where is he now? Just out of football or what?
