Vegas puts Dolphins over/under win total at 7.5

It could go any order for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spot. The Jets, Bills, and Miami are all pretty much equal right now with not one being signigcantly better or worse than the other. Perhaps give the bills the upper hand over the two because they will likely have a dominating defense.
 
Wow some of these over/unders are ridiculous! I'm going to start betting!

Def. see the Phins over 7.5, especially with this years schedule.

Jets under 8.5

Isnt this the way we see it every year? The phins winning 10 games and the Jets winning 5? I would love Miami to have a 10-6 season and they could pull it off. With a schedule as easy as ours this year, they better pull it off, but I dont see any problem with our odds being at 7.5. Considering the past 3 years in a row we havent beaten that mark - with that being said vegas is actually throwing us a bone.. :chuckle:
 
I think that's fair. I just checked the list and none of them seemed too outrageous.
 
This number is right on. The team could finish 8-8, but they could just as easily finish 7-9 or worse.
 
That's about right. Too many unknowns and a tough division, despite the schedule. I'm staying away from that bet. Then again, I never bet on Dolphins games or results, except for the occasional $50 throwaway bet on the Super Bowl, which is nothing more than a donation to my favorite charity: casinos.
 
FWIW when one of the gambling houses applied their model to the Weeks 1 through 16 games, they had the Dolphins going 8-7 heading into the Week 17 game against the 15-0 Patriots.
