Not sure if this has been posted already. I'm not sure I'd bet my life on 6 wins for us this year... Hopefully I'm wrong.

The Bills are over/under 7.5 wins
The Jets are over/under 7.5 wins
The Pats are over/under 12 wins, but the over doesn't pay out very well.

The Chiefs are also at over/under 5.5 wins.

The only team lower is the Falcons at over/under 4.5 wins.

***They also have early week 1 lines, and we are 3 point dogs at home versus the Jets.***

They have Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds, and Henne is 25-1. There are about 20 people with better odds than him, but he is listed. Jake Long isn't listed, which makes sense.

Darren McFadden is the favorite at 3-1
Jonathon Stewart is next at 6-1
Mendenhall, Felix Jones, and Kevin Smith are 8-1.

5 or 6 wins sounds about right for this year. I don't think the jets are going to get 8 wins!!!

yea. betus.com and bodog are good sites for sports betting.

I know 6 wins sounds low, but every year we all come up with great reasons why this team should win 8 or 9 and when the Dolphins are four or five games into the season we realize we all were dead wrong. Hopefully that changes this year

I think I will take the over on the Bills, Under on the Jets, right now I am close to taking the over on the Fins too, need to wait and see how training camp plays out, and research your schedule some more

Also heck if the payout is nice enough I might even take a flier on the under for the Pats

As a non-Dolphin fan, I kind of like the odds of the Dolphins going 6-10 or 7-9 next year. When you consider that they went 0-6 last year in games decided by 3 points or less, just upgrading the special teams from trainwreck to above average could be a 3-4 game swing. I definitely see the defense being much better and keeping the Dolphins in a lot of close games ... they may not be dynamic, but they're not going to get pushed around and bullied at the point of attack like they were last year.

These odds came from Sportsbook.com. It's a really nice site, except that it takes my money:boohoo:

Good luck if you bet.

You too huh? They always seem to know the team that covers. Damn them!!

I was pretty disappointed that they set us at 5.5. That half game can really screw us. At 5 games, I would say definitely since there is the chance to push but now I am hesitant.

Let's break down the schedule....

With money on the line, I am going to be a bit harsh even though I think they may play better.

Within the division we split vs Jets and Bills and lose both vs NE (2 wins).
2 road wins vs St Louis and KC.
3 home wins vs Oak, Balt, SF.

This gives us 7 wins with more possible wins @AZ, @Hou, @Denv, vs Sea.

Our schedule is pretty easy. We may play 4 of our last 5 on the road and 3 in cold weather but we also play 5 home games in a 6 week stretch and 6 in an 8 week stretch. Including our bye week, we leave Miami for a total of 4-6 days to play 2 games over a 9 week span.

For those that bet each week. There could be some real good value in our favor come week 7. We will potentially have a misleading record of 1-4 and have our home stretch ahead of us.

Under,

But right at 5

It's tough because i think they will win either five or six. I wouldn't touch that O/U.

SD over is the best bet at 10.5. I think they could go all the way this season. The only loses I see would be vs Indy, NO, NE, and Pitt but they have the talent to win every one of those.

Pats are a great bet IMO, they're basically 6-0 in already with the divisional games. They should have no trouble winning 12-13 games, i'm not sure about 14 and beyond however.

That is a good bet.

The other ones that jumped out (for overs) were:

Browns over/under 8 wins.
Cowboys over/under 10.5 wins
Colts over/under 11 wins
New York Giants over/under 7.5 wins
Steelers over/under 9 wins
Seahawks over/under 8 wins

However, most of those bets don't pay out very well (i.e -145, or -135).

It's frustrating that they cut the payouts rather than adjusting the over/unders.
