Vernon Carey Interview

Thanks.. a great interview..
Good to hear that he's off the chicken wings(reason: "We tryin' to win a chapionship here..":up:) and now weighs 351 pounds..

I really like that he acknowledged last year as his worst, made no excuses and said he would be better.

I like that he said he would be back stronger.

I like that he said they were trying to build a championship team and he had cut out the chicken wings.

I like his off season weight is 351 on a season target weight of 340.

I was pretty down on Carey after this past season.

He said all the right things. He's got me now. I'm on his bandwagon. :up:

I also liked hearing that Mt. Vernon thinks last year was his worse so far in the NFL and he wants to get back to the type of year he was having in 2006 at RT. Funny that he can dunk a basketball, too. So glad we have him and Long as bookends!
