I'm interested to know what you guys think of Carey in the first half. The only thing you can really take from this game is individual performances and I have to say after all of the camp reports I was ready to see a better Carey.

THis is what I saw:

Slow off the ball.
Very little push.
Lost is space.

I hope he just had a slow start. But, . . .

Yeah I was a little dissapointed on Carey but it is preaseason and I think you cant ask for more of him.A rookie who didnt play all last year and is playing a position he has not played since high school.Common you can expect an Ogden, you also have to admit the bears have a hell of a DL. He stayed with his guy most of the time and he didnt create any false starts. He also stick to his guy until he cant hold him anymore.I was abit dissapointed but I was proud to see our new LT.

I've only seen him get beat once, but he recovered and made the block.

Yeah, I'm not ready to cut the guy, just Seth, but I thought we would see something more from him. He wasn't aweful, but not really an improvement over Mac last year, except for the pena;ties. Your right, no false starts. that's something, I guess.

Guys cut Carey some slack it was his first start at a position he didnt play all threw colleage. He is a guy who didnt play all his rookie season. When all is said and done we wont be writing threads about Carey any longer. What I cant wait to see is MIddleton next to Stockar.St.clair stunk it up at the RG position real bad.Hadnot played alot better then Seth is that is for sure....

Carey played well. I watched him alot and he did well riding his guy past the QB. Feeley still needs to work on his pocket presence. Carey got beat once and it was a combination of Carey's bad positioning and Feeleys lack of pocket presence. Plus Carey was a RT/G most of his life and is now learning a new position. Nice Job tonigtt Vernon, keep it up!

Overall Carey looked pretty good. The one time he was beat pretty good he was able push his man away from the QB, I liked that play. I've got to look at the tape after the game but I think that da Phins are set at LT. However, they must cut Seth "NOW", before the 4th quarter. I can honestly say he maybe the worst center I have see in years. One on one he is just getting B-Slaped every time. How on earth is he still in the NFL is beyond me. 2nd team guys are killing Seth. Oh well I got off topic, bottomline Carey looks like he will be a player at LT, so we are set.

He got blown by down in our own endzone, that was poor. The end should have knocked the ball out of his hands.

Better than what we saw last year, Im okay with giving him more time

First time at LT going full speed not a bad job overall.

I saw him get beat on like the first series but he jus recovered and kept him off AJ. I was impressed

He got beat against a respectable Alex Brown... came back to make an effort...

I was actually dissapointed in the play of Hadnot. I saw the interior of our O-line as the weak area. I thought that the play of our tackles, althought not super, it was encouraging.
