It was nice to see us take some shots downfield today. From what I've seen todays performance was the first that our offense resembled a Linehan-like scheme. Chambers came up huge and Boston had a chance or two. This is just something I thought we'd see from day one. This was our most efficeint game, without a doubt and its good to see things moving in the right direction. Overall it was just nice to see us spread the field today, and get the W.

ps-THINGS WENT OUR WAY FOR ONCE TOO!!
 
I'm sure we surprised ALOT of people today, putting up 27 against Carolina's D.
 
McMike had a nice TD catch, didnt notice Diamond. Welker was pretty much stuffed
 
Thanks alx , by the way the networks never show the dolphins in my area . of course i am having tv trouble picking up tv stations , so can anyone tell me if miami is using 4 wr sets at all or are we using just 2 wr sets?

They are definitely using 4 wr sets thus far this season. At one point today I believe they even went to an empty backfield. It looks a lot different than Miami of the past.

the crazy thing is that we may be passing more than we need to at times. I'd even say that its one of the reasons Ronniw was struggling, no chance to build any rythm.

To bad seth mckinney screwed up the play.
 
Does anybody know why we aren't using Boston in shorter routes. We only threw to him on deep passes. I'm just saying why not throw to him on like a slant and let him run,i mean name one cb that's gonna stop him 1 on 1.

i wouldn't get used to that. when r. williams is back there will be some loaded backfield sets i imagine
