We are all true Dolphin fans (save a few friendly visitors from other teams) and now is the time to stop bickering about some elementary aspects and just come together on the core point that its time to MOVE ON from Philbin.

He's had his chance to make it as an NFL HC and it's obvious the experiment has failed. The bigger question at this point is if Ross has the capacity to make some positive moves RIGHT AWAY and not flush the balance of the season down the toilet.

Personally, I have very little regard for Ross, and can only hope he somehow finds the insight to make some positive decisions to move this team in the right direction. Chances are the players will respond very positively to a decisive show of leadership -- starting with the immediate dismissal of Philbin. After that, it would seem the only coach on the staff worthy of an interim position is Lazor -- though his stock seems to be sinking pretty fast. But promoting Lazor followed by firing Coyle would at least wipe the slate partially clean -- preparing the way for a complete revision after the season.

Anyway, there's nothing left to do other than immediately take some steps in the right direction.

For most of us the verdict was in quite some time ago -- but now we can all see continuing "as things are" is NOT an option.

Here's to better days ahead!

i could get behind this to see how the balance of the year plays out. the team is flat our horrid and will not win more than 3-4 games continuing on like this.

When the team effectively quits on the HC and we're on front 1/4 of the schedule -- it's utterly pointless to continue the embarrassment.

Personally I'd be shocked if Philbin was the HC this time next week. But with Ross, it is more than possible.

After the first two weeks, there should have been a contingency in place in the event this game turned out the way it did.

And good leadership from the top down would have the decision on the table Monday morning.

Bad coach (s)

Still don't have Oline and Lbs or DEs
Albert is a liability and Tannehill is not a magician

Philbin isn't going anywhere....Ross is a moron

I'm finally ready to accept that.

I watched the Falcons game this morning and watching Kyle Shanahan call plays was really a thing of beauty. We need a HC/Offensive play caller that understands how to get the ball into the hands of our playmakers. Because we finally have an abundance of talent on the offensive side of the ball.

I hope we can beat the Jets and limp into the bye week at .500 and just go from there.

Good thing is we have a qb so we will have many coaches lined up for this job! It won't be like years past where coaches pass us over!! Only positive I have at the moment

Lazor isn't the answer. This offense is a mess.

Hope us being strapped by the cap doesn't scare coaches away....

On the positive side:

We are developing a level of consistency which we haven't had for years....
And were Not shooting for mediocrity anymore.......rather just trying to stay out of the NFL basement seems to be the new goal....

Playoffs are in the picture ...we'll be there as soon as Philbin finds that damn magic potion

Isn't our cap supposed to be in a lot better shape next season?

When you allow incompetitence and cluelessness to build your boat -- don't be surprised when it sinks to the bottom.

The longer Philbin stays the worse the situation will get.

Change at this point is not an option, it's absolutely necessary.

Chop off the dead parts first and worry about the rest of the body later.

Yea, Lazor may not be the long term answer -- but at least that's a step in the right direction -- even if it ends with an entirely new coaching staff after the season.

On the other hand, if Lazor has some legit upside, let's find out NOW rather than stay on the same incompetent, clueless course.

After the first two games, I suspected this would be a blowout. And if it was a blow out, I was hoping to hear that Philbin was released today. We don't need another Cam Cameron season.
Unfortunately, Our defensive scheme is completely ineffective and our players play with all the passion of a Coke machine. That all goes on Philbin ... Whoever the interim coach is matters less than the statement Ross has to make by firing Phibin.
