OK, this is very early and not all players have declared yet. This will change, but I would be very happy with this. I think Miami will get a #1 WR in the off-season via trade or free agency. I am a HUGE Demaryuis Thomas fan and think he has the "it" factor.

1. Brandon Spikes - ILB Florida 6’2”, 256 lbs, 4.75 forty
2. Ricky Sapp – OLB Celmson 6’4”, 248 lbs, 4.55 forty
3. Demaryius Thomas - WR Ga Tech 6’3”, 225 lbs, 4.6 forty
4. Deunta Williams - FS UNC (if he declares) 6’2”, 210 lbs, 4.5 forty
5. Jimmy Grham - TE Miami 6’8”, 260 lbs 4.65 forty
6a. Torrell Troup - DT UCF, 6’3”, 314 lbs
6b. Mike Johnson – ILB North Alabama, 6’2”, 248 lbs, 4.75 forty
7a. LeGarrette Blount – RB Oregon, 6’1”, 240 lbs, 4.55 forty
7b. Austen Lane – DE/OLB Murray State, 6’7”, 270lbs, 4.6 forty

Undrafted Free Agents
Preston Parker – WR North Alabama, 6’, 200lbs, 4.45 forty
Jay Ross – DT ECU, 6’3”, 314 lbs
Thomas Austin – C Clemson, 6’3”, 315lbs

Demaryius Thomas won't fall to round 3 and Deunta Williams won't fall to Round 4. Austen Lane is getting talk of being a 2nd or 3rd Round Prospects. What makes you think he falls to us in Round 7?

I am a huge fan of Thomas, and he is not going to run well at the combine if he does decide to come out and that may cost him in the eyes of many, it may not we will see. Willimas once again if he comes out more than likely will be a third round pick but as well all know players stock rises and falls. See Rey Maualuga...

Lane would have to have an amazing combine to make it into the second and third round. Murray State doesn't see the best competition and he beats people on his physical size and speed alone. He probably wont be there in the 7th, but you never know as well. As I stated, this is a very early mock and it will change. It's all a matter of opinion at this point isn't it?

Oh man...where to begin?

First off we already have enough Gators on this team, and unfortunately one to many.Next,Austen Lane is a 2nd round prospect. Also,we dont even have a 5th rounder, and even if we did,Jimmy Graham wouldnt be there,he is a fourth rounder....AT WORST.

Demaryious Thomas is a 2nd rounder, who could fall to the thrid, but would probably come of the board within picks of our pick.LaGarrette Blount is EXACTLY like Lex Hillaird,so that wouldnt make any sense.Robert Johnson,FS out of Utah is a much better prospect, and has better instincts than Deunte.Jay Ross is more likely to get drafted than Troup.Thomas Austin is gonna be a 6th or 7th rounder.

i would love it if we were able to get those players, but like some posters before me have already said, i don't think some of the players will be available where you project them to go.

I agree, and as I stated this is very early and will change depending on who declares and how the Senior Bowl, combines and pro days go.

Last year Maualuga was projected to be a top 20 pick, and many had Sean Smith projected as the Dolphins first round pick. Heck many had Duke Robinson as Miami's first round pick and he lasted until the 5th.

You never know what will happen and who will declare. Looking at your mock from March of last year you had Maualuga and Laurinatitis going in round one and Duke Robinson going in round 2, he didn't go until round 5. At this point it's all a crap shoot and it will depend on who declares and how these kids to in the months leading up.

This is a very early mock and it will change, some of these guys wont be there in the rounds I have them now and some of them may be there in later rounds, there is still a long time between now and draft day.

As far as Lane goes what I look at is yes he is a sack machine, but he gets by right now based on ability alone, that is not going to get it done at the NFL level. He is playing at Murray State against lesser talent. There is probably a good chance he wont be there in the 7th, but once again at this point or heck at any point we never know.

instead of Parker...I'd take a flier on Dave Nelson..6'5"--212 from Florida.

I like Spikes but I love your reasoning.

I like all your picks here except the first 2......I realize the value that Spikes would bring as an ILB upgrade and I know exactly what kind of player he is...and always has been....Personally, I just don't think he's worth a 1st round pick....I would consider him late in the 1st...but definitely not in the middle of the 1st round...

Austen Lane won't be making it to the 7th round...

I do like to see the UNA players getting some recognition here....I get to see a lot of UNA/Alabama A&M games around here and the players at UNA receive some legitimate D-1 level coaching with Terry Bowden...

Some of you may remember Preston Parker from his Florida St. days...

I don't consider Mike Johnson a draftable linebacker.....but I do think Quinton Andrews could deserve a draftable grade at safety...

I bleed garnet and gold, so it's tough for me to like Spikes, but I think more than his ability his leadership is needed. I also think he has good instincts.

Parker I like a lot and if he wouldn't have been stupid would probably be a 2/3 round pick. The guy is Percy Harvin lite.

I like Johnson, haven't seen him play much but what I have seen he makes plays and like Spikes he seems to be a leader on the field.

Lane probably wont last till the 7th based on potential alone, but while he is a sack machine he has horrible technique and playing against lesser talent gets by on his athletic ability alone. There also seems to be some questions about his desire and seems to take plays off. He also is not good at all against the run and tries to avoid blocks instead of taking them on keeping his containment.

We'll see it's all a crap shoot right now, but I do love the off-season...

So I should take advice from someone who had Everett Brown going #9 last year and Duke Robinson going #32? OK

I'm a Nole and can't stand the Gators, but I am also smart enough to know Spikes is a good player and a better leader. Graham has played exactlly one year and has 14 receptions he is a project and while he has a lot of ability he is still a project.

Where did we lose our 5th? You may be right and I missed it.

It's all a matter of opinion and yours is no better than anyone elses. This will change as more people declare and workout...as I stated its very early.
