Very easy decision for Mr. Ireland...

Plax is a playmaker that CJ can only wish he could be. He is a matchup nightmare and led the Jets in TD catches last year with sorry a$$ Sanchez as QB. I've wanted him since he visited as a FA when Saban first became coach. I was rooting for CJ but he is mediocre at best. I liked his footwork but his hands are very suspect and now an arrest??? Give Plax a workout, the same money if he looks good, and see what he has to offer. Plax was out of shape last year and still had 7 TDs. He is in great shape now or that's the word. He's determined to dominate again and we have nothing to lose by giving him the same shot that CJ has obviously wasted!!!
 
You guys want Plaxico? Haven't we learned our lesson from Marshall and Johnson?
 
Plax is a playmaker, and let's be honest he only hurt himself.... But at this point I'm just ready to say screw it, cut Chad and let our current WRs fight it out for the season. Maybe Wallace steps up?

Bess, Hartline, Wallace, Pruitt, and anyone else who starts to get the concept of read and count to 3 when ball comes to you.

rookies in the wings. in due time.
 
I'd like to cut Johnson and give gates one more year to develope.

Plax has always been a problem child.

They should probably put Ocho on suicide watch, seriously.

He is obviously very sensitive and now he has been humiliated publicly in the saddest way, in his home town.
 
How bout instead we just cut Chad Johnson, for this season roll with......

Naanee, Hartline, Bess, Wallace, Pruitt, and that kid who had a couple nice kick returns as the 6th WR.

Then next year actually try something radical and draft talented WRs in the early rounds and develope them into star players..... you know, like most teams do who win in the NFL today.

Hey, we finally drafted a QB in the first round. Lets pull our heads completely out of our ass and get some real talent on this team in other non cornfed positions.

Ireland has somehow managed to not draft ONE difference
maker in something like 50 total draft picks....how is this even possible? I would think throwing darts would net me a greater statistical chance to hit on ONE freaking play maker!
 
plague-ico has historically been a BIGGER THUG than 85.

Words fail me that some want to move even further in the Thug direction. :crazy:
