When Wes fumbled the ball in our territory and it led to a bronco score. I was having flashbacks of Wanny- Ball when he would put it in" protect the lead mode" and shut down the offense with run run run run, eat the clock and hold on for dear life :( . It was on the next offensive series, that i realized Linehan doesnt play that game. He proved to me that he wants to WIN!!! and more importantly.. that he wants to BEAT the other team , not just outscore them and hope the clock runs out. Hes got balls!!!
That play call, when GUs connected with Booker for the 60 yd TD, was exactly what ive been waiting for the last 5 years. It proves to me that the right coaches were brought in and we are serious about winning. When the opposing team begins to gain momentum, you dont hope to run out the clock, you march your soldiers back on the field and RAM IT DOWN THIER THROATS!!! :fire:

It was that very play that i realized this IS NOT the same team!! And i LOVE IT!!!!! JMHO

Yeah that pretty much ended the game, and maybe even more importantly, it sent a message out to the league that when you stack 8 in the box (John Lynch) against the Miami Dolphins from now on, you'll pay. Last year we'd run against 8 in the box or throw INTs.

Yea baby.... i felt like it was the change we were all craving... Finally... The type of get up and go and dont stop football that may keep us in alot of games!

I was thinking the exact same thing. I've watched other teams do it to us and I too was so used to us just trying to bang out the run game to milk the clock. But, that call was incredible and just by itself proves that we are a different team.
