The Ravens in the last few weeks the Ravens have signed Bryant McKinnie and Andre Gurode. Many on this site (myself included) felt the Fins have need outside help. Some of the candidates to help from the outside are the two Baltimore has signed.

The Dolphins on the other hand stood pat throughout training camp. The line has many questions in terms of how much Long is banged up, a rookie at center, Carey playing RG for the first time and a one-legged RT.

With that being said, the Fins FO and staff obviously feels they are okay upfront.

Therefore, lets sit back and watch what line plays better over the course of the season. Should be interesting.

I think this line is going to get a jolt of energy and drive when Jake Long comes back.

Every multiple-man unit (five on the line) needs a guy who sets a high bar and infuses the unit with an example of excellence to strive toward, not to mention the leadership that player provides.

With Long out this line has no one like that. I think you'll see a big difference come Monday night, yes even against the Patriots.

I think we have serious needs at guard and I don't understand why we didn't bring in Gurode, McKinnie, or Waters.... I really don't get it.

unless he clones himself one great LT will not suddenly make the other scrubs good players

Players and coaches come and go, but the Ravens remain competitive, year-in-year-out. They are right there with the Steelers in the best run organizations category.

They don't make many mistakes. They bring in Flacco and Rice, while they are still good. They bring in John Harbaugh and he infuses them with energy, attitude, and aggressiveness. And they beat Miami every time. Every time.

It should be interesting to watch.

we def need guard help. hopefully craplombo doesnt start but we know he will. hopefully garner will steal ether rt or rg. or a young pup steps up

garner must be behind these scrubs for a reason

Tony said the O-Line problems are "fixable" ... what' he talking about?? ... "spaying?"

:zorro:

It would be cruel irony if Tony is undone by having a bad offensive line.

why would those guys come to miami when a superbowl contender like the pats and ravens want them

Right, just like Ray Lewis and his energy and leadership seem to have no effect on the players around him.
