Very NICE stats for fins...

Our run defense has been solid, but I don't know why any team would run on us when our passing D is so miserable. We're going to need our own strong running game as Henne adjusts to the real deal.

well teams cant run on us anyways even if they wanted... thats the one part of i defense i feel extremely confident in... but your right.. why even try to run on us when our pass D is atrocious.. i think it has to do with our safeties.. because our corners are playing ok

you might want to add our stats on pass defense and pass offense

You can dress up a pig anyway you want but it's still a pig

Points scored(most important stat)#26
passing yards(offense)#30
passing yards(defense)#26

stats are so stupid sometimes...

our offense runs clock, a lot of clock and we shorten the game quite a bit. Other teams don't get as many opportunities to run against us so yes their actual total rushing yards might be pretty low.

A better stat I care about is how many yards per carry we're giving up???

Or like others before me said, what's our passing defense rank? If people can light it up against our secondary, why would they run?

Anyone notice how well Denver is playing in the secondary with our castaways Hill and Goodman? Maybe our scheme sucks??

What I don't understand is how our front is so good on run defense, but cannot get enough pressure on the QB to force him into mistakes?? We could be releiving pressure on our secondary.

This is the real stat that matters every year.

And Miami is ranked dead last in the NFL.... That's why they're 0-3.

Actually the Passing Offense and defense is more misleading then the running defense and Offense, anyone that watched the games, knows this is true.

Passing would be low because Chad rarely goes deep, and considering how well the running game is going, there is no reason to overuse the passing and risk a turnover.

On Pass-defense, a great chunk of those yards have come from not having someone that can cover TEs, we stop TEs from hurting us, this becomes a better defense against the pass. Our Corners have played every well, especially Sean Smith considering he is a rookie.

As far as running, Miami is running it down their throats, controlling the clock big-time, and stopping Miami from running is step #1 on every D-coordinator and defense's todo list, problem is opponents are finding it tough to stop Miami from running the ball.

While Miami is on defense teams 1st and foremost try to run it on Miami, and have failed, and in no game has Miami been so far ahead, that opponents had to abandon the run game, they did so, because no matter how much or how hard they tried, they could not run on Miami.

It's all about the W's.

They've also faced the Bengals, Browns, and Raiders. Passing offenses don't get any worse than the Browns and Raiders.
