I was at the Jags game and here are some thoughts...
No one in the secondary had a good game. Grimes and Mccain were in position to make plays but had horrible ball skills.
Please get Walt Aikens off the field. Out of place and doesn't have the smarts. Thomas should start in his place.
The defensive line is bad. The create no pass rush at all and I'm not sure why they never run stunts or try to confuse the offensive line. When they blitz it fools no one. Good job Coyle.
Why in the f*ck did they pull Wake out of the game at the half? According to Wake he was fine and it was the coaches choice. Wow.
The play action calls when you're pinned against your own end zone on 2nd and 3rd and long are laughable.
Take a shot deep! Be more creative on offense.
Cameron means a lot to this team. This dude needs to stay healthy because he is ALWAYS open. Offense looked different with him out.

They tried to run some stunts from Vernon's side but Vernon is an idiot, he did nothing, holes were there in the middle but he just stayed on his side wondering what to do. One comes to mind in 4th q at Jax 10 yd line on 3d and long that Bortles converted.

You do know he had a pulled hamstring right?

I am aware that he does... Wake said he was good to go and he was benched pretty much. Him not playing in the 2nd half had nothing to do with his injury

That doesn't mean he's clearly 100% and his play showed that. He wasn't good the first game either. If it keeps up he won't be here next year.

Coyle is a bad play caller. No skill for the feel of the game. His blitzes are the worst I've seen in a long time. I use to get made at Shula for being so loyal to Tom Olivadotti because everyone knew he wasn't a good coach but Shula did not want to fire him for whatever reason. Bad decision then and bad decision now for Philbin to keep Coyle.

this. Everyone knew then, as everyone knows now the D coordinator stinks. In fact, I feel like I'm watching Olivadottis D - the gut wrenching, never get off the field, bend but don't break (Hahahaha) style of play that allows other teams to impose their will on you between the 20's and dominate the clock. Terrible schemes.

Has wake actually played better than shelby so far? No pass rush from either but unlike wake, shelby sets the edge better on the run.

Haha... Stop man. You're implying Shelby is better than Wake. Shelby is an average backup. Wake is the best 4-3 DE in the NFL
