My thought is we need to stop trying to trade Dion Jordan. He's the successor of Wake. Let's allow him to grow and assume the dominant pass rusher role over the next couple of years.

oline would be nice then...just have to find a right guard to compete with shelley smith...right tackle and left guard would be athletes jack...that said dion could actually come out and give us 8 plus sacks this year and raise his value...but he's an every down player in phillys d from the get go and so i'd make sure they knew that when we were negotiating...lane johnson also could take over left tackle when albert is eventually cut or moved inside etc
and no i'm not taking on mr quit on you desean jackson in the process..
who knows if philly likes dion that much who is miscast in our d anyways maybe they'd take a 2015 4th instead

Im using jordan bc hes been linked to chip kelly, hes an odd fit In our defense right now. But I do like him and think if one of the starters were to get injured he would play well...but hes a luxury to me at this point and mathis is more of a need.

I understand the connection and why many suggest trading Jordan to Philly. He's not a luxury IMO. If our coaches could figure out how to use him in pass rushing downs like the Giants did a few years ago with their pass rushers Jordan would be way more effective. Also IMO Jordan is preparing to take Wake's spot when Wake's contract runs out in two years. Jordan will be a stud at that point and we will have our DE's for the next several years.

the only reason i would consider is is cause i would get lane johnson back who is gonna be a stud...i feel like i know what i am getting there...the hell with draft pick compensation from the eagles for what??? so they can go pick some more scrubs
