Very Worried About Monday Night

lol the only "worry" I have is that they might actually rally and win a few more games... face it we are going nowhere until we get a real GM and a coach that is not milquetoast.

The Fins will explode or implode... its not going to be a close game. Fins 68-0

I feel sorry for Tampa Bay, actually.

The fins haven't played a game in 10 days, and with this soap opera ****-storm bullygate that is swirling around the team since last game; they'll be dying to prove everyone wrong by curb-stomping the Sucs

They are not mentally tough enough to do that let alone talent deficiencies that always show up.

You really don't need to be worried. All that pent up aggression comes out tomorrow night. It's going to be a bloodbath.

I am very concerned about winning Monday night's game versus the Buccaneers. I have seen some on this site say "I feel bad for the Bucs" or how the game will be a blowout. I do not buy the narrative that the Dolphins are going to be "together" and "committed to moving mountains to win the rest of the year". There as been little from this roster and coaching staff to prove they have the ability to do what many on this site will happen. I am very concerned on multiple fronts.

First of all, there have been distractions all week. Tell me the team has put in as much attention to the Buccaneers game plan as they could off because the Martin/Incognito distraction? Perhaps they have increased the amount of time to get ready for the big game Monday to compensate. However, this team has shown to be very mentally weak. Blowing leads to the Ravens, Bills, Pats and even in last week's win. The inability to close a team out is on the players and especially the leadership of the head coach.

Speaking of Joe Philbin, I know there are quotes from players saying he has done a good job through these tough times, but I question if he is a guy that the players are willing to sacrifice themselves for out on the gridiron. Plus, as the days go by, it is becoming more obvious that Joe is going to become a lame duck very soon. Whether that is fair or not is for another thread, but it could very well become reality.

The controversy in Miami has overshadowed the mess in Tampa. This game should be about whether Greg Schiano can survive. Instead, it is about Miami's issues. Now, the Bucs are in a strange way distracted from their mess and will play loose. They have a ton of fine players. Darrell Revis is a pick six in waiting. Gerald McCoy can wreck a game inside. They have effective blitzing LB's and brutal match up with Jimmy Wilson vs. Vincent Jackson. This is not a bad team that will be loose as cream corn tomorrow.

I want to win and survive. I do not care about the score. Getting to 5-4 would be huge. The investigation aside, I want my Fins to be relevant for ON THE FIELD performance. While many in the organization could have done a better job avoiding this controversy, I still blame Jonathan Martin for how he handled it. With that said, it is about Monday's game right now and I am very concerned for this game.

We just beat Cincy when all this was happening.

Only thing I am afraid of is Sherman and keeping this offense going in the right direction. Clabo a little, but he has improved, but that is because of new offensive sets. We need more Egnew in this gameplan.

All this other stuff is just motivation for the team IMO. Now sometimes you can be overagressive and drop the ball so to speak.

I hear you on the wanting to win now thing, but I was never ever convinced that this would be the year. And I still don't, with MAJOR changes coming I'm looking towards next year - doesn't mean I won't watch or that I'm not invested emotionally, anybody who watched every game in 07' can attest to how exciting it was to see us beat the Ravens in an otherwise completely meaningless season. I don't put much stock in what other people think or their opinions of the Dolphins, I couldn't care less. It's gonna take another major overhaul to get rid of the stench, and that overhaul may start sooner rather than later.

No way this is a blowout for Miami at least.

this is why I never understand people such as yourselves when making your arguments are made.

I think after that Incognito interview Joe could lose his team. Maybe he should. Very disappointed in Joe.

Can I be honest? I don't want to wait until next year. There is a real chance to make the playoffs. The team has beaten some good teams and hung around in defeats to other strong clubs.

I live and die with wins and loses. While there are a TON of things I would not have done in terms of keeping so and so in a given position or hiring Joe Philbin or not firing Ireland AND Sparano at the end of the 2010 season, I still support the team to the highest.

Plus, where I live I get **** when the Fins fall up short. I am tired of it.

I want to win NOW and I cannot move on to next year.

Plus, this is not a simple, fire the coach and go search for another guy. This investigation could make the job radioactive for the next guy.

I want to see how much damage this team can do this year. This game is a huge concern if they can't come out of this off the field mess and put together a win vs a winless team. I think they will respond, play well and at least live for another week. If they lose though that really sends a bad message about what they're made of. It would be kind of like firing the flares because the ship is going down!

Why? Explain please!

Why? Please explain!

Because to the players there is no reason to ban Incognito especially after the content of the interview. Joe better pivot and tell them it was beyond his control, but I am not sure that work.

If the Jacksonville game does not give you chills going into tomorrow night, nothing will. Everyone has a win, but TB.

How can another organization done a better job at handling this. This is unprecedented, and no one knew Martin was going to quit and make this scene. Once he went to the reporters, how could have the team dealt with this??

1. I would not have jettisoned ALL of last year's leaders. My team would still have Dansby, Burnett and Bess on it.
2. Incognito being in a major leadership role was questionable.
3. Joe lacks a pulse of his team.
