Is it a crazy idea to go after a verteran pro bowl center like Saturday or Birk? Even if, is there any chance either of them leave their team? I think, as I hope most of you do, that a great team starts around a great line. What better place to start than the center of it!

It would be nice if we can get a player of their caliber.

Indy is up against the Cap, so they will be hard pressed to keep Harrison, Saturday and Rhodes.

You know whats great is that guys like these could want to come play for us! What a difference a year makes. GO DOLPHINS!!

I'm pretty sure that as long as Peyton Manning is in the NFL, Jeff Saturday will be the one snapping him the ball. If the Ravens let Jason Brown hit the market we would be wise to try to sign him if not draft a big center. Satele may be a better fit at guard, but I'm convinced he's not big and strong enough to be anything more than an average center.

Niether of those two is going anywhere. IT is possible to get those types of Centers..Mawe for instance, left in FA.

If either is available I would like to go after one, but I think Miami might draft a guy like Alex Mac. The kid an outstanding C and I think the best in this draft. While some might question OL two years in a row. I think it would be a great addition, plus were we pick there might not be much left. MLB,OLB and CB are positions Miami might also address, but if Mac is there you dont pass on the type of talent. After this year Satele need to be replaced.

He's a veteran C that the team already has in house, and knows the system. Why spend money in FA on something you don't need?

because hes not that good and injury prone?

hes a non factor other then depth.

if we go into next season with him as our starting center we are in trouble.

If he can't beat out Satele, they need to find someone that can.

Whoever thinks Miami does not need a C is crazy and if he is as good as you say why didn't he start. True is that Johnson has to bum knees and is injury prone. Just like Smiley that was an awesome aquisation, injury prone guys dont tend to stick with Parcells.

Like I said Alex MAc for 09 with the 1st Pick if you dont sign big Matt Birk.

I wouldn't mind if we draft a center but I doubt we draft one in the 1st round....even Stevenson was drafted in round 2.....not many centers are taken in round one.....I'd still like to see us draft a pass rusher with our top pick unless we take care of that need in free agency

Ozzy rules!!

I honestly think with the way Suggs played against us miami will be all over him.
