I'm sure there will be some veteran cuts or options made available that will be better than what was left before we took Phillips. I think the pairing of Phillips with DT rotation will really solidify the D-Line.

I went into the draft thinking Miami wasn't going to find long term solutions to all of their issues. If Parker, Douglas and Ajayi pan out Miami might not need to address the offense at all in free agency or the draft next year. Spend next summer adding linebackers, corners and young replacements for Wake and Delmas.

Kind of my point that why use a pick to fill a need and pass up on talent you view as long term. I think Miami can fulfill that need with a stopgap via free agency. Should be a few post June 1 guys.

only issue to waiting around hoping someone shakes loose is that the jobs of our FO are riding on immediate success this season!

I think it's just being prudent and patient. Team could sign Brandon Spikes today and he might be better than what was in the draft available to us.

What possible LB's may be out there other than Brandon Spikes? I'd really like a solid veteran.

I guess I'm one of the few who have no worries with our current LB's. I like our 6 roster players and we signed 4 good FA's after the draft. That makes 10 LB's! Only Jenkins is pro bowl caliber I admit but we don't have to have a pro bowler at every position. Misi, IF healthy, is a quality LB and McCain has potential like Jenkins did in the beginning. We may keep at least 1 maybe 2 of those FA LB's. Our DL will make our LB's look even better. The key has been and always will be who stays healthy.

Bobby McCain addressed our CB depth.

Can play inside and out and add him to what we added in FA and depth ain't bad.

Biggest hole atm is LB.

After Anthony and Kendricks none of the big name mlb prospects really did anything for me as far as looking like future impact nfl players.
