Vic Carucci is a closet Bill's fan.

Anyone who doesn't write anything positive about the Dolphins on a daily basis is a complete idiot and homer. Haven't you learned anything?

That statement is almost as ridiculous as your haircut...If he's a Bills fan who cares? But I'm getting mixed signals if he has us ranked 12th in a power ranking and the Jets at 30....How can he have them beating us?...Does that make any sense to you?...Jills fan?...:shotgun:

His hair is actually a common sense filter, worn mainly by Bills fans.

He lives in Buffalo and has been a weekly guest on Buffalo's Empire Network for years. He is no closet fan, he is a full blown Bills fan.

That's cool...But going by his power rankings it doesn't make any sense him picking the Jets..

So what. He has the Patriots #1 in his power rankings. Does that mean he thinks they wont lose at all? Power rankings are complete garbage. Teams match up well with others, power rankings are just for people with too much time on their hands.

He also wrote Jim Kelly's autobiography. Well you know what they say "Its good to have friends in high places".

closet? HE IS OUT IN THE OPEN.......BILLS FAN FOR SURE.

I NEVER READ HIS OPINIONS ANYMORE

I have suspected this for a long time but can now say that the guy is firmly attached to the Bills collective jocks. I will outline my arguements here:

1: He hates the Fins, classic Bills fan behaviour. I cannot recall a positive article about the Fins by Vic since he started his tenure at NFL.com.
2: He picks the Bills for greatness at the beginning of every season. I can't remember a year where he didn't wax on and on about how the Bills are a contender.
3: He picks the Bills to win every week.
4: He rights articles about Bills players constantly.
5: He writes about the Pats as if they are the worst thing in his life.
6: He rarely mentions the Jets except when they play his team (predicting a loss for them) or when they play us ( always a Jets win ).

Thoughts?

Megatron you made some good points but he is a known Buffalo fan.

This is very true, but he does have to tone it down to give the impression of impartiality because he is a reporter. It's just so shamefully obvious when he writes about them it just screams Homer. Kind of takes away any credibility he had, if he had any in the first place.

Yes...and then he picked the Jets to kick our a*s even though he had the Jets power ranking at 3rd worst in the league????

The common misconception with power ratings is that people depict them as an outline for a seasons success. The power ratings are a mere shaping of our last few weeks of performance and how good we are playing, not how good we ARE.
