I don't mean to piss on anyones parade, but I think we're getting way to much credit for beating a Pats team that's lost it's edge. They still have the talent, but that team has basically given up, no heart. I think right now we are no better then 25th. Maybe some are happy that we're not ranked that low, but I think we need to play, every week like we played Sunday, to move beyond the bottom of the league. We looked like crap the first two weeks and go into foxborough and win a game that was impressive yes, but hardly on the level it would have been had Brady been playing.
Maybe we've turned a corner and the players relize the team is better then they were last year, but we're going up against the best QB in the league in Philip Rivers (statistically) this week and we've seen what good QB's have done to us early on. I just want to see how this team responds when they face a QB who dosent stand there with a "deer caught in headlights look" and actually throws the ball with timing and confidence. If we face the Chargers and play respectable ball, I'll feel much better, but everyone here knows if we get blown out by the Chargers...it will be doom and gloom.
