Vick at qb saturday night?

If Culpepper doesnt play saturday night, will Vick see any time at qb in the 4th quarter? Harrington might play for the first quarter, Lemon for a qaurter and then maybe Berlin for the second half?

i doubt it. if vick is making the team it is at WR so he will get all of the playing time experience he can at the position. berlin is the QB definetly getting cut, i see him playing maybe 1 qtr. harrington probably plays the first half and berlin and lemon a quarter each.
 
I really expect everyone to say no, but I heard he is getting a few reps in practice and the staff might want to see if he has anything to even keep Berlin in camp in longer. I know Berlin doesnt count against the roster space, but still. I think Vick will be kept as a utility player instead of just a backup wr.

I dont think he will make the team at all

Watching him in college since he played in the ACC I saw him a lot, if his last name wasnt Vick and he wasnt an idiot I doubt he would have gotten 1/3 the attention he did in college. Every time he played a good team he folded. And he doesnt have good open field moves

and then 5 WR's (none of them will be Vick)

It's doubtful that Vick will see much time at QB until the 4th game ... just for experience and to mop up ....

He needs to focus on his WR abilities ... which at this point seem to be very real ...
 
Don't count on it. He may take one or two snaps just to throw the Jags off.
 
I am still a little worried about the Dolphins potentially putting Culpepper in the first preseason game. His injury was major, and should not be risked this soon. Vick at quarterback makes as little sense as Berlin at quarterback. I would ride Joey for the first half, and Cleo for the second to see which of the two are worthy of being the back up. I am not sold on Joey being the back up. He sucked since he entered the pros and from what I've been hearing, he is continuing to stink out the joint, but back to the original post question, do not under any circumstances have Vick out there playing major minutes at quarterback. His brother barely knows how to play quarterback.
 
I don't see Saban putting Vick in @ QB, if only to keep NFL teams from remembering the kid can throw, Saban would want him in there as a WR only, IMHO. Although Saban MIGHT want to see if Vick can be a 4th QB option in case of multiple QB injuries. Preseason only though, just to see what the kid can do, and then only late in the 4th qtr.
 
I hope they hold C-Pep out of the first game. He is a vet and doen't need too many pre-season snaps so don't take a chance on an injury in the first game.
 
to be honest we shouldnt play cpep this game at all.i think this pre season should be all about harrington and lemon battling for the back up spot.im gonna watch what impact vick has at wide reciever.i hope he suprises and dominates
 
Vick will play some at QB, I think so even if Culpepper plays a while
 
I cant see Vick getting snaps after Harrington has his turn.. then lemon, then Berlin... maybe if you want to tack on an extra quater..LOL
