Vick calls out his O. Coordinator

"Frustrated by the 2-6 plunge during the second half of the season that kept the Atlanta Falcons out of the playoffs, quarterback Michael Vick wants to see more creativity in the offense. "I think Greg Knapp needs to know that," Vick said, referring to his offensive coordinator. "He needs to know exactly what type of talent he's working with. ... You've got to be creative. There's no reason I should be passing for only 2,300 yards for the season. My passing attempts per game (24.2) are not even that high. I hope it's not that they don't believe in me, because I believe in me."

The Falcons had the NFL's top-ranked rushing offense but ranked 27th in passing. In 2004 they advanced to the NFC title game with a 30th-ranked passing game."

I really can't stand Vick. He is terrible. He wants to pass more? Please man. He needs to pass more efficiently when he does pass -and more consistently. All he is doing is proving that he's all about his self. His teammates have to be seeing it. He's so caught up in his over-hype that it's ridiculous.

I can't stand Vick either, I think he is the most overated QB in the league....but, he does have a point. Based on this statement, I don't think he's just thinking about himself....the man wants to win games. Now....calling out your O.coordinator is just not cool, he should have said that in private...just a stupid thing to do. But then again, Vick seems to be the golden boy of the NFL.

And water is wet...for christ sake, this guy is penciled in to the Pro Bowl every freakin year even though his production is average at best.

I happen to like Vick, too. Not going to turn this into another one of those threads, though. To go with the topic at hand, I think his team mates are behind him on this. Not because I have any facts to back that up, but because I have never heard anyone on his team call HIM out for being a bad quarterback. He has young recievers and an O-cordinator that only has 3 plays. Run, Roll-out pass, Scramble
