i was wounderin what everyone thins wil happen 2 vick, will he play this season here or go to another team? i think he is a great talent and good player to have but he have enough quarterbacks wide recievers and kick returners right now.

what i think will happen is we will use vick as a 3rd QB and groom him for the future since cleo and harington arn't that young and harrington would be a pretty good back up to cupepper

MIA is what he will be at QB for the Dolphins.

You can bet on that.

First of all, Cleo is a lot younger than you think. He is only 24.

Now back to the original point of this thread: I think he'll be our Antwaan Randle-El.

Vick won't make it in the NFL as a QB. We don't even know if he can make it as a WR, but his best chance is to try to make the team as a WR/Returner. The best he could do this season is to make the PS.

I totally forgot how old Cleo was...thats pretty sweet that we have a young QB with potential :)

Thx for the reminder :D

I bet my life savings he is a reciever in the NFL or at least the dolphins and which by the way is $0.00.

I agree with you on this.

But if someone goes down he may play this season. God forbid.

I think if he keeps his head on straight and lives through the practice squad for a year he could become a viable all-purpose weapon.

I don't want to lose Welker over a possible future guy who might pan out. Welker is too valuable to our football team with his experience and playmaking abilities.

Vick will not take Welker's spot on the team. You can book that.

Just because his last name is Vick and his brother is a probowler QB, doesn't mean that he is a automatic to be a good NFL player or even average at that.

He really wasn't all that great in college and he got alot of media attintion just because of his last name. If he's last name wasn't Vick, then I bet we wouldn't have threads like these.

WR, nothing more.

Vick

I think alot depends on how late July looks. lets see who is ready to play and at what positions. I do not know much about Vick yet-his speed or ability and how he could help the team. Has he got the speed for defense? QB training let him read defenses and he has hands. My gut tells me he may be a jack of all trades.i'm just throwing out ideas. :dolphins:

No, Lemon will be 27 in less than two months. He was born 8/16/79.

We signed Vick to a two year deal, so he will be a Phin for at least that long. I don't think Saban will put him on the PS as he could be snatched up from another team. It's not really costing us anything to keep him around, but WE have to find out if there's anything there than to let some other team do that. We took the risk so we should reap the benefits, if there are any.
