Maybe with Ronnie out Mularky will insert Vick at some point for some type of either diversion or some cool trick play that actually works for big yards. Good week imo to give it a shot since we're limited because RB is out.
 
That gets tricky with Vick being the 3rd QB due to the rules. If he's on the active list and not a 3rd (inactive) QB, then it can allow much more freedom with it. I'm a little surprised that he hasn't been used for anything like that yet though.
 
he hasn't been used yet for a reason, im sure. He probably just isn't ready to go in at all at real speed yet. If you want a trick play, lets have booker sling it to chambers again. that bookers got an arm.

He is in the roster as a Wide Receiver (at least that was what I thought)
 
Personally I've seen enough trick plays, would rather they just play hard nosed football and pound it in there even without Ronnie.

no hes third qb. haven't you ever seen daunte on the sidelines recently? Cleo and Marcus are always right behind him at all times.
 
i would kinda like them to use vick how the jets use whats his name number 16
 
With the butterfinger display that Hagan put on in the Lions game, maybe Vick should get some reps as the fourth WR.

I'm leaning toward this idea... I had thought Hagan would have "caught" on by now.

He's listed on the roster as QB/WR/KR, but for the games, he's been the 3rd QB. Meaning he's inactive, but can play. That's why he's dressed, but still inactive. But if he plays in the game, the 1st (Harrington) and 2nd (Lemon) QBs cannot play unless it's the 4th quarter (or something like that -- I forget the exact rule).

The 3rd QB is an emergency QB if listed as inactive. Which means once he enters the game, the #1 and #2 QB's can't go back in the game. If he was "ACTIVE" then they could take him in and out of the game.
 
Yes those were bad drops but he is a rookie and rookies make mistakes, You'd think you guys would learn this by now.
 
I too would like to see what Vick could do instead of Hagan.
