Vic's Top 5 Free Agency Teams

I agree Tennessee should be there, as well as Cleveland.

I disagree about Minnesota and Dallas. Getting T.O. isn't the ultimate prize. And what has Minnesota done? Ok sure they get Hutch, but Brad Johnson is now your only QB?

No Dolphins or Skins?

Minnesota??????

why should miami be in the top 5!??!? l.j. shelton and will allen??? please. all we got it 2 underachievers and some scrubs so far.

what i dont understand is how minnesota is number three on all of these lists all over the internet. they overpaid a guard no matter how good he is and got a below average running back who has never been a significant part of any gameplan. those two upgrades and they are instantly proclaimed dangerous. i dont get it, especially after they just lost the quarterback who has been the fountain of their success and they are about to lose nate burleson, the only legitimate threat they have at WR.

they havent done anything, and even if they have the losses outweigh the gains.

You don't think Miami is Top 5?

If this article was who has made the best offseason moves then yes because then we can throw in the Culpepper deal, but not in the Free Agent market are we in the top five.

Culpepper and Brees if both return to full health are the best moves in the league.

Getting Pro Bowl QB's is almost impossible.

The Browns have made a lot of moves but T. Washington and McGinest are both old as crap. Kevin Schaeffer was overpaid and Joe Jurevicious is an average receiver. I like the LeCharles Bentley Move.

I think the list should be ....

1) Dolphins - Culpepper is a franchise top 5 QB in the league. Have spent moderately and addressed several key positions

2) Redskins - Have accurately assessed needs and acquired players to fill them. Over paid for Randel El and Archuleta but both players will help them.

3) Saints - If Brees is healthy this was a great move for them..

4) Browns - Have improved roster but may have created more problems then solved. McGinest and Washington are stop gaps and Schaeffer is overpaid.

5) Carolina - got two DT's that they can pair w/ Kris Jenkins. I like the Keyshawn move..

Ya, Minnesota shouldn't be up there. My top 5 would be the Browns, Redskins, Cowboys, Cardinals, and probably the Seahawks. I know they lost Hutchinson, but getting Peterson was hugh and Burleson could be a nice receiver for them. If the question was top 5 teams for best offseason so far, then the Dolphins would be one of the teams based on them getting Culpepper in a trade. But he was only talking about free agent signings.

The DC trade clouds are minds a bit...but i wouldnt have Miami in the Top 5

My list would be Cleveland, Tennessee, Seattle, Washington and Arizona

Cleveland-blows everyone away
Tennessee-got some really nice pieces to build around
Seattle-lost Hutchinson but kept Bernard Strong got Peterson, Alexander
Washington-sure they overpaid but they got some good players
Arizona-EJ is a great pick up for the high powered offense

If Miami signs Lavar i put them @ 3 or 4....
