Appreciate the link. Been waiting to see this...but I gotta say, it seems to be the same schpeil (sp?) every time. None of you Philbin haters jump on him for this...my point is that I kinda miss the old speeches with Tony Sparano (not him, but I liked that they always gave the players a moment to jump in and do their thing "lets ride!" why dont our current players get fired up and get a moment for the camera? I guess maybe its not viewed as professional? I dunno....I just miss seeing them in the locker room have a voice.

Philbin thanking the players first and foremost?
Is this real life?

Honestly, it doesn't bother me what he says after the game one way or another. What I've noticed is that the team has been going out there and scratching and clawing and fighting and playing well over a pretty sustained stretch here, and if we can continue to do that then Joe Philbin just might win me back over.

Yvw. Yah, I'm not usually pumped after I hear them, but glad to hear his thoughts. My recent fav Fin locker room speech was on Jason Taylor's final game.

Feels the same.

Yeah behind the speeches, Philbin does seem to have that locker room, considering how hard they play down to the last second.

I like how he snuck that "doing it the right way on and off the field" in there. No raw dogging hookers this weekend Shelby!!!

Lots of wins Sparano and crew had btw

I'm always waiting for something more when I see philbins post game speeches.

The speeches are edited, for all we know there could be 2 more minutes of him talking.

He has grown from his flash card speeches, his words can be redundant but he speaks from the heart now.

That's a good call. I tend to call him weekend at Bernie's but he seemed to be a bit more alive this time.

Philbin is a CEO and he may be learning to get out of his own way more now and let the brains around him put this thing together more.

He's had some nice wins this season. The Chiefs and the first Bills games were quite frightening for those of us who care about this team earlier this year, but The Lions and Packers losses were more about not knowing how to win a game.

All 4 games were losses so there's that - the feeling i have is that if he can learn more how to win - like last night - this team can have some success.
