Does anyone have video clips of Bo Jackson running? I can't find any ANYWHERE and it's been forever since I've seen one.

Ronnie Brown is drawing a lot of comparison to Bo, and quite frankly I don't know whether its true or not because that last time I saw a clip of Bo running had to be like 10 years ago.

I don't know how Bo timed in the 40 but what little I remember about Bo he was definitely a homerun threat but not like a Barry Sanders homerun threat, more like Fred Taylor in just that if he gets the right crease he's gone...and I remember he use to bowl over people too. Ronnie is much the same way, he gets the right crease and all the sudden the angles on him start deteriorating...but he also gets most of us big runs by breaking right through a tackler and recovering quickly enough to still be running full speed.

Ronnie Brown is the second coming of Bo, they are just amazing at nearly all aspects of the game. Not perfect vision, and terribly elusive. But physically they can do anything. Big, fast, strong, and can catch or block.

Ok, and as for the premise of the thread, does anyone have clips of Bo or know where to get them?

I was a huge bo jackson fan watched him a lot sports bars etc,, and yes he does remind me of bo lower the boom and gone.

Theres no way the comparisons are justified. I like Ronnie Brown, but Bo arguably had as much talent as anyone that ever played. He was OJ Simpson and Earl Campbell rolled into one. Too bad he didnt play football fulltime.

That is yet to be determined, I do see the simularity.

It'd be great if Ronnie > Bo, but I saw Bo and NOBODY'S like Bo. That's right, I've seen Bo, and Ronnie ain't no Bo. He's Ronnie. Similar ability to Bo, but....

he ran slap OVER that Denver guy in the beggining

There's going to be a lot more of that to come. Especially...when he and Ricky get a little competition going between one another.

Lots of people on here think Ricky has a character problem, but he dosn't.

My son in law was his room mate in the Phillies Org. in Martinsville Va. Other than his quirks, he had nothing but praise for him as a player and person.

just so long as the other 31 teams perceive him as having one it will be good for us.

I cannot wait, the raw power we will soon be weilding in our running game may be unprecedented. Neither one shys away from a punishing blow. The hit on Champ Bailey was deliberate, he drove Champ into the dirt, the pitchout to the left where he slams the db and then tightropes are good aggressive examples. When the new opponent sits down each week and watches how low Ronnie can drop his shoulder on a dead run it must send chills down their spine. The only way to win the low pad challenge would be to lay down and then he would step on their heads. During college there were times that Ronnie just took over, like #34 did in the Buffalo snow game before Wanny quit calling his number. Really though, there is no safe down or distance, either one can take it home any time. The future is bright.

I was to young to really watch Bo, but I've been able to see numerous highlights on the guy. One of the best runningbacks of all time, if not the, you just won't ever get to see the numbers because of his short career.
