Wow. I was starting to believe the ESPN hype machine on Sanchez. After watching these youtube videos of him in this 1st four weeks of the season, I feel much better about playing him and the Jets offense. you can see every throw he made on this site...

Jets offense is so simple...

In four games I saw, a sh*tload of screens! WR screens, RB screens. A lot of them, especially on third down. In the last two games against the Titans and Saints, I saw a LOT of quick slants! The entire Jets offense seems like a 3-step drop offense and if the first read isn't open, Sanchez gets rattled. There were not many deep passes and when there were, Sanchez was off on all but one (Titans game, nice throw from Sanchez).

Sanchez throws a lot of inaccurate balls, whether they're low or not in stride with the reciever. He also threw about 1 ball in each game that was literally in the defenders hands but dropped. Jets fan like to make fun of Pennington for being a "check-down guy". Through these 4 games, I've never seen a QB check it down so much! I don't know if he has small hands or what but the guy fumbles a lot! Balls slipping out of his hands a lot (Think Culpepper). Is he shorter than the average QB? He gets balls batted down a lot as well.

One positive on Sanchez though, his legs are always moving. It's hard to pursue and bring him down but when he sees pressure, he easily gets rattled and makes bad decisions, so send the house!

The Jets O-line is extremely overrated! They looked good for the most part against the Texans but seems to have regressed in each game.

Jerrico Cotchery is better than I thought. He's definitely got talent. There other recievers though are nothing special. Dustin Keller runs good routes but he also isnt as good as advertised, or just isn't utilized in the offense to the extent that I thought they would use him.

All in all, with a terrible run game and a simple offense filled with quick reads, slants, and PA rollouts, the Dolphins should feel okay knowing this wont be Peyton Manning and the Colts, not even by a long shot.

Who cares if all they do is screens. Doesn't mean we'll be able to stop them. Miami doesn't know how to tackle.

To be honest, I thought before the draft, and still think, that Sanchez will be the best quarterback of the draft (I am coming around to the idea that Stafford could be better, though). But he is definitely a rookie, and our defense should be able to capitalize. If we can establish a running game and stop theirs, I say we win.

If you have watched any of the Lions games (I have seen them all) you can see that Stafford is by far the superior QB. He has a lot to learn but it's quite amazing how quickly he learns from his mistakes. His arm is stronger, his presence and awareness are much better. Sanchez may have an edge in decision making only because Stafford tries to use that big arm to squeeze the ball in tight places to make a play. I would gladly have welcomed him to the Dolphins if they had the first pick and not had Henne on the roster.

Sanchez has been critized long before for having only a 20 yard and under arm. He's extremely inaccurate with the deep ball. Against the Bills we crept the corners up because of Edwards throwing short most of the time and it paid off with a pick 6, I foresee us doing the same againt Dirty Boy Sanchezzzzzzz with a good deal of success.

Good to know, but the screens scare me with the fins. Also lets hope they can put pressure on him...

The thing about the NFL that ticks me off is they protect the QB to the 9th degree but allow QB's to cut defensive players in open field situations. They should be suspend a game for it when they could seriously hurt someone not expecting it. I don't get how they don't make it equal across the board on protecting players. On that int Sanchez had no hope of catching the Corner but cut another defensive player for really no reason.

this guy can be beat!! we just need to bring pressure!!! he makes a lot of bad passes!!

They still scare the **** outta me! I just hope Miami comes to play if they do we can hang with anyone.

Remember, Pizza face is still only a rookie

I guess Pizza face is better than having Frankenberry as your QB
