Wow. I was starting to believe the ESPN hype machine on Sanchez. After watching these youtube videos of him in this 1st four weeks of the season, I feel much better about playing him and the Jets offense. you can see every throw he made on this site...

Jets offense is so simple...
In four games I saw, a sh*tload of screens! WR screens, RB screens. A lot of them, especially on third down. In the last two games against the Titans and Saints, I saw a LOT of quick slants! The entire Jets offense seems like a 3-step drop offense and if the first read isn't open, Sanchez gets rattled. There were not many deep passes and when there were, Sanchez was off on all but one (Titans game, nice throw from Sanchez).
Sanchez throws a lot of inaccurate balls, whether they're low or not in stride with the reciever. He also threw about 1 ball in each game that was literally in the defenders hands but dropped. Jets fan like to make fun of Pennington for being a "check-down guy". Through these 4 games, I've never seen a QB check it down so much! I don't know if he has small hands or what but the guy fumbles a lot! Balls slipping out of his hands a lot (Think Culpepper). Is he shorter than the average QB? He gets balls batted down a lot as well.
One positive on Sanchez though, his legs are always moving. It's hard to pursue and bring him down but when he sees pressure, he easily gets rattled and makes bad decisions, so send the house!
The Jets O-line is extremely overrated! They looked good for the most part against the Texans but seems to have regressed in each game.
Jerrico Cotchery is better than I thought. He's definitely got talent. There other recievers though are nothing special. Dustin Keller runs good routes but he also isnt as good as advertised, or just isn't utilized in the offense to the extent that I thought they would use him.
All in all, with a terrible run game and a simple offense filled with quick reads, slants, and PA rollouts, the Dolphins should feel okay knowing this wont be Peyton Manning and the Colts, not even by a long shot.
