While the quality isn't that good, Booker was very impressive in his last college game when he finally was given the workload ..I have not seen this video posted since the draft .. Lorenzo Booker had 200 total yards and 2 TD's in the bowl game vs UCLA.. Here's a video of this game with Booker in quite a few plays including the touchdowns..

Note that nice catch where he runs it to the 2 yard line setting up another touchdown.. Great hands and great run after the catch ..

Also notice the announcers being very impressed with Booker saying he should be a high round pick in the draft and how they say they love his style after a run up the middle then to the outside .. Those comments are more towards the middle of the video after some runs (about the 3:40 mark I think) , and also later on his the video after he scores his 2nd touchdown they say how great of a player he is ...

Lorenzo Booker kinda reminds me of Kevin Faulk and Warrick Dunn.. He's got some nice speed and shifty moves.. Not to mention he has the best hands of any back drafted in this draft.. I see him catching alot of catches like Keith Byars and Terry Kirby used to do for us out of the backfield.. I also see Booker going in motion and lining up as a wideout to confuse defenses (alla the Coryell offense) ..
 
Yeah it was a great performance.. I like what the announcers said when they said Booker is a "big time runner" .. And said they love his style and said there is no doubt he should be a high round draft pick etc etc ..

Booker dominated that game.. No offensive player had as many yards as Booker did..
 
The video also feature noles WR Carr, who could be awesome if he ever caught the ball with any consistency and learned how to run better routes.
 
Man I really hope 'Zo Bo' does well this year, he could really bring a spark to our running game. Who cares who the QB is, if Ronnie and 'Zo Bo' run over everyone we just need to play our steady defense and we could easily go 10-6.

I also like the Booker pick.. I think he will do well in the NFL from observing him play well against a very good University of Miami defense.
 
i love his quickness.... anyone thinking about how crazy our 3rd downs are gonna be.. we were one of the worst last year on conversions.. hopefully this year we become sick.. with maybe ronnie at fullback and lorenzo at half back... we should be scary as ****
 
great draft

wowww ....i think ...this draft was very very good ...ginn ..booker ...beck ...and a monster samoan in the line . cam cameron picks a monster receiver a great runner who also catch and a brainy qb with an arm . if these three guys click as pros it has to be the best offensive draft ever along with 83`marino/clayton .

I wonder just how high Booker could've gone if he played for anyone but FSU. Great pick

Booker was choosing whether to go to USC or FSU before he committed to FSU.. Looking back, he made the wrong choice. He would be another Reggie Bush type back at USC. And probably would have been drafted in the late first or 2nd round in the draft if he was used properly.


Maybe not as good as Bush overall. But he has some of his attributes such as great hands, and the ability to make catches out of the backfield, then running well after the catch.. I think Booker can get 60+ catches this year for Miami . His hands are simply nothing less than excellent.


Having Ginn on the outside, Chambers in the slot, with hagan or Marty Booker on the other side. Then with Lorenzo Booker and Ronnie Brown (as a fullback on 3rd downs) coming out of he backfield will drive defensive coordinators absolutely crazy . And if David Martin is as good as Cameron says he can be, look out.

Miami was one of the worst teams for 3rd down conversions last season.. Look for that to change quickly.
 
Wow. Booker is faster than I remembered. He looks impressive. Forget 3rd down back as he has been labeled. Ronnie and Lorenzo as are 1-2 punch. See ya Ricky:tongue: ..........HELLO Booker!!!:cooldude:
