Video's of the 2009 draft picks

Thanks man. I've seen all these already but it's great to have them refreshed in my mind

I really enjoyed watching Smith play the ball like a WR when it was in the air. I am confident you will see him finish plays if he is in position. I am not sure if Smith can make it as a starter in this league (speed, quickness, foot work, ...). If he does become a starter, then I could see him leading the league for interceptions sometime in his career. Again, the videos show that Smith plays the ball in the air extremely well.

I can't wait to see these guys on Sundays!

The special teams tackle by Hartline on the kickoff coverage team is very encouraging. I believe he will edge out London based upon his kick coverage skills.

While watching these, I realized why Patrick Turner was so underrated in his college career. He had Lienhart, Booty, and SANCHEZ throwing to him.

Also Pat White makes those defenders look like little kids. That usually means he will have good NFL speed.

Exactly why I loved the Smith pick. Vontae will be a very physical reciever, but Smith will be covering Moss, Owens and any other big reciever we face this year. I also liked the fact that if Tuna and Co. can get creative we could include him in some red zone packages with Turner so we have two big men in there and he would be a great target. Just my opinion.

Maybe it's just a Dolphin fan's wishful thinking, but I see something in the last two drafts that we haven't had in Miami for a long time...talent.

When it becomes hard to find where the cuts are...we are progressing towards the top...kinda gives you a chill!! GO PHINS!

I know that Smith would match up well against the big wideouts we face this year such as Owens, Moss, Johnson, etc, but my concern would be is that if he was to get burned badly by one of these for an entire game (which can easily happen), it would really hit his confidence, which is something you dont really want to happen to your rookies.

I cant see Smith being designated a top reciever for an entire game, same goes with Davis, especially in single coverage.

I see Vontae Davis being more susceptible to what you are talking about than Sean Smith. I think all corners are susceptible to crisis of confidence, and rookies more than veterans, as you say...but I will add that from what I have seen of their personalities, Sean Smith looks to me to be a guy that would be difficult to rattle from that standpoint. It's just little things in his interviews and his demeanor.

I wonder if there will be any packages where Smith and Davis man the outside (specifically against the Pats and Bills) and Will Allen moves into the slot- he's so quick I could see him in there. Jason Allen, too, if he could ever get it together, but that's more of an idle thought. Maybe it would just be Davis moving into the slot, I think that he could handle it, too. How sweet it would be to see Smith make a pic on a high throw to Moss or Owens.

Will Allen has been playing slot for the Dolphins for a while now while others came in and played the outsides. Only later in the year last year did they start having Nate Jones come in and play slot so that Will could stay on the outside as needed.

I don't think it's a question of will they have Vontae and Sean come in and man the outsides while Will mans the slot...more of a question whether they will train Vontae Davis to be able to man the slot position at all. If they don't, they would be forced to put Eric Green in to play slot during games when they need Will Allen to be able to stay on the outside, and then in other games when they feel comfortable with the matchups, they would put both Vontae and Sean on the outside while Will mans the slot.

Holding out any hope for Jason Allen or have you written him off?
