.Henne's potential is what you want in a prospect and has been Pennington's pupil. The team is now his beyond dispute. Thigpen is here primarily to do Pat White's job in the wildcat and spread, a change-up to spice up, not only the most interesting, but capable of becoming the most prolific running offense in the nfl. Thigpen is young, hungry & arrogant plus has shown talent, courage & creativity on the big stage already.
.The quarterbacks don't have to be better than Dan. He never had a Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams, Patrick Cobbs or a line that could run-block consistently.
Short-term the things to watch are whether the offense can execute deep passes to Ginn without being hurt by trying, if dumb mistakes are eliminated and if the defense can stop too many big plays.
.The coaching staff has done great things in areas and lacked in others. Having the brass to throw Brown out there to take the snap with Ricky whizzing by & see if they could make something happen in New England's house, among other things, suggests the coaches are competent enough to identify problems and find workable solutions.
.I think Bill has his eye on both coordinators. I'm very glad he & Sparano are here, being proud of this team for the first time since Marino's glory days. Thank you to them.
