Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf is angry and embarrassed over accounts of drunkenness and sexual misbehavior by his players on a charter cruise, and said Friday the team will now have a conduct code.

Wilf, in his first comments since the boat party last week, said he has apologized to the governor. He also has spoken with his players, who will be held to a code demanding “high standards, high morals and success.â€Â

“I expressed my anger and I expressed my embarrassment, my embarrassment on behalf of my family and for the people who work hard here,†Wilf said, regarding his remarks to the players.

He isn't the only one who would been angry over the team. If i was him, i would find out who was really behind all of this and i would suspend and fine that player or players.

I feel bad for Tice, he's going to have trouble finding a job after this debacle.

Looks like these players are gonna be in the dog house.

Vikings | 17 Players Identified as Passengers on Charter Boats
Fri, 14 Oct 2005 22:14:50 -0700

Paul McEnroe and Pat Doyle, of the Star Tribune, reports 17 Minnesota Vikings players were identified as passengers on the charter boats from the alleged sex scandal that took place Thursday, Oct. 6. The list includes players who apologized for teammates' behavior and who tried to protect the employees of the charter boat. Among the players listed for questioning are QB Daunte Culpepper, OT Bryant McKinnie, CB Fred Smoot, RB Mewelde Moore, DT Kevin Williams, WR Nate Burleson, and FS Darren Sharper. Not all of the players on the cruise were named, as there were at least 20 players present on the boats according to the company's attorney Stephen Doyle. It is unclear which players listed took part in the lewd behavior and which ones aided the crew and apologized for their teammates.

nothing like a black eye while standing there with your hand out. Talk about a gift wrapped argument for those oppossed to the stadium.
