Vikings | Team could have an interest in Feeley
Tue, 29 Aug 2006 11:10:17 -0700
Judd Zulgad, of the Star-Tribune, reports the Minnesota Vikings might have an interest in QB A.J. Feeley (Chargers). Feeley is familiar with head coach Brad Childress' system after playing in it with the Philadelphia Eagles when Childress was the offensive coordinator.

LOL, Spielman is taking his trash with him. :sidelol:

HA! Speilman at it again.

Thats right he trying to acquire the best quarterback in his eyes A.J. Feeley!

I sure feel for Vikings fans.

I can see it already,

Spielman "I realize he is a free agent, but I still would like to give up this 2nd round pick to assure we get him"

Guys listen. I know this is a horrible move but Childress coached Feeley when he was in Philly. Also remember Tarvaris Jackson is the future of that team and he looks helluva good.

Yeah the connection with Childress is there, but it is so freaking ironic that the trade that defined Spielman's tenure with the dolphins (even more so then the 3rd for Gordon) gets traded away for another backup and a 6th, gets released, and now might join Spielman again.

This shows that Spielman does not get ashamed, because if I was him I would never even look Feeley's way (people still mention the trade), Childress be damned!

Also, I wonder what Childress said when they were looking to hire Spielman, I mean he was with the Eagles when Spielman got took in the first place. I'm sure they sat around the water cooler making fun of him.

I doubt they bring him in. McMahon is not playing the last preseason game and O'Sullivan will be playing a bunch. My guess is the only way Feeley comes to town is if McMahon & O'Sullivan (both worth nothing) get axed and he comes in as a 3rd stringer behind Tarvaris Jackson.
