Vikings trade doesn't make sense

There is not a chance that that Williams and Williamson are available at 18. Your kidding yourself...

I have a really good feeling about clayton. That would be an upgrade on offense. What if we could get mcpherson as well.

All I know is this is the 1st time in several years I'm geeked up for the draft.
I didn't read or watch any draft shows the past several, I figured why bother ? !

I'd love to get Clayton, he'd fit in perfectly with Chambers and Booker.

They pick at 7 and 18. One of them will be available at either of those spots. Williamson and Clayton for sure at 7. Williams may go as high as 5. They will have their pick though.
 
If the deal goes through and all the moons and stars align and we are able to get BOTH Brown and Clayton with #'s 7 and 18 respectively? :eek:

I'd be VERY happy.
 
At 7 I've heard they'd like to get a defensive player, possibly Merriman if they had stayed put. I guess they feel Braylon is THE player to replace Randy. That team is loaded...

If we get a trade down, the possibilities are endless. If we dont trade down at this point, let alone the Surtain trade going through, I think unfortunately we will be left with and extremely mediocre draft.
 
I really think Williamson is going to be very good. He comes from a running offense so he really didn't get a chance to show what he's got. What we do know is he can fly. Also if the rookie challenge is any indication he can catch as well. Boomer has said they have Williamson ranked close to Edwards and Williams, so maybe they won't make the trade. If I'm them I take Williamson with the 7 use their 18 on one of the nice defensive players available. But maybe they feel they have made improvements to the D and want to get the best WR they can get. We'll see.

I don't agree. I think Edwards is a great prospect and the #3 and #4 picks
are good picks that should net two decent players. Teams are built in the 3-5th round area.
 
I would love to see us land the Vikings picks because not only do we get more picks, but the middle of the 1st is a great area of value. Around there I have a gut feeling that the Eagles will make a play for a WR, whether thats Williamson or Clayton only time will tell. But the lack of production from there other WR's killed them. I would like to be the ones to trade down with them all the way to the end of round one at 31 and get our 2nd back. Or Id be just as happy to take back our 2nd, with a 3rd and a 4th.

come on man, how doesn't it make sense, the dolphins gave up a 4th last year to move up one spot...:fire:
