MIAMI  The Minnesota Vikings' run-stuffing defense failed to faze Joey Harrington, and their trash-talking didn't rattle him, either.
"It's nice to beat those guys, especially with what they were saying," Harrington said. "There were a lot of guys talking  asking me how I'm doing, whether I've bought a house here, and what the traffic's like. You know, the usual."
Harrington went 26-for-42 and wasn't sacked. His throwing compensated for a running attack held to minus 3 yards, a franchise low.
Even without any ground game, the offensive productivity could have been better. Harrington went 7-for-8 on Miami's first possession to reach the 1-yard line before Ronnie Brown lost a fumble. A 58-yard touchdown pass from Harrington to Chris Chambers was negated by a chop-block penalty.
"Joey did a good job of managing the game," coach Nick Saban said. "He made a lot of good throws."
Afterward, the Vikings had words of praise.
"Joey made a lot of great plays," quarterback Brad Johnson said. "It seemed like he was always making the right reads. Sometimes you need a change of scenery, and this seems like it worked out
