Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings will be wearing new uniforms for the 2006 season. Steve LaCroix, Vikings vice president of sales and marketing, confirmed the uniform change, although he declined to say to what extent. "We are working with the NFL and Reebok on some exciting changes for the 2006 season. The process is still continuing, but we'll look to have an unveiling later in the offseason for our fans," he said.


I guess they could use an upgrade on their uni's.
 
purple and gold are ugly togather although recent team uniform changes have been awful(see Atlanta, Denver and Buffalo among others)
 
That's the real reason Culpepper left, he saw the uni's and they were dog ugly. :D

Call me old fashioned by I think you have to stick with your traditional looks......the teams that lose regularly seem to be the ones in sports that change their uniforms. Teams with a lot of tradition like the Phins, Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers don't change their look.....just like the Celtics and Lakers in the NBA....teams modernize their look but they usually keep the same colors....I think Purple and Gold is an ugly combination but the Vikes should stick with it. I do think the Denver Broncos did the right thing by losing the old helmets with the Horse and going to the vertical stripes. I like the old all white Dolphins jerseys, but I also would like an all aqua uniform, and break out the orange now and then.
 
minn will do anything to make them seem like a new team after the love boat

Here is a little advice for Arizona, if you want a "mean" logo, dont choose a herbavor as your mascot:lol:
