...This isnt a fair comparison. A DT has a much better opportunity to impact a game then a RT does. DT's can in a way play by themselves. They get a sack PERSONALLY, get a tackle PERSONALLY. a tackle can only black as hard as he can.

IMO both looked very good today. Im not debating about giving a 4th for him or not, that was deffinatley wrong. But at the time O-Line was deffinatley a bigger need, and i think Carey was the logical choice. Weve only seen one freaking game of Carey starting. How are u gonna say hes DEFFINATLEY worse thenWilfork already.

I agree... It ISNT a fair comparison, Carey is playing for a horrible O-Line and despite had a solid game...while Wilfork is playing on a good D-Line going up against our O-Line.

Not that i saw...Does the NFL even record those? Ethir way, i think the most important linemen stat is "sacks alowed"...VErnons was 0. And he was goin up against Willie McGineest alot of the game.

Vernon Carey was a little lost on pass protection, but di..okay....He was a beast in the Run Game though...he was an *** kicking machine out there...I could not believe that he was kicking seymours *** that bad.

I may well be the board's original Wilfolk guy, and even I have to agree that comparing one game when it was Vince's 4th game and Vernon's 2nd isn't really fair. Vince should have been our pick because he was BPA, but there is no reason to gild the lilly...
