Vince Young clip

Personally, I love this guy. He made a few stupid mistakes in that ball game but is just something he will overcome with experience. He is only a sophomore and I think in a year or two for sure he will be a top prospect. This guy effortlessly tosses the ball downfield and he is as quick as Mike Vick. He might not be as agile as Vick but this guy can still scramble.

yeah I agree. And he has good QB height at 6'5". BTW he is a junior though, not a soph. But it looks to me like he hits targets with decent consistency. He definitely has improved since last year. And like you said, the toss looked effortless which is pleasing to the eyes
 
i was impressed with what i saw of him. i like jacobs also ,but i have a feeling young is gonna a big star in the nfl. aj hawk was also impressive ,but i think oline and qb is 1st priority next yr.

yeah Jacobs is a far superior passer. He would be great for us

i thought the same thing until i saw that texas v. ohio st. game on sat. this vince young is a beast, he can run, throw and scramble.
i also watched omar jacobs last week and i only saw him in the shotgun the whole game. i dont know if thats the only way he can play like that kid from hawai a aouple yrs. back but that cant be good turning pro. so imo that jury is still out on jacobs, but im still high on both of them especially young after what i saw on sat.

Vince is a Junior, but yeah, he did make some stupid mistakes. The two that stood out to me where when he was being sacked the 1st time and held the ball WAY above his head in one hand, surprisingly it wasn't batted out. The second was the same thing, except this time he threw it, and it was picked. I am a diehard Longhorns fan, as I am a Dolphins fan, and that game almost gave me a heart attack, lol. Its one thing when your favorite NFL team loses a game, you can lose 7 (in theory) and still make the playoffs, but in college football ONE loss is basically the end to your title hopes, so I was on the edge of my seat from the time Ohio State started scoring til the very end of the game. AJ Hawk was INSANE in that game. A pick, a fumble recovery, then a sack all in a row!
 
I love Vince Young and am hoping that we can get him in the draft. i dont know if saban likes a scrambling qb and with his size he can prob play running back. but if we keep winning we prob wont get him anyway...id rather win now with zachy boy and JT instead of waiting for young to develope.
 
i wasnt impressed with this guy at all when they played osu..he has three plays and his throwing style is awkward as hell..he wouldnt last in the nfl

You didn't watch his QB's at LSU did you. Marcus Randall, scrambling QB: JaMarcus Russel, scrambling QB. I don't think their would be an issue their.
 
Vince Young?

The guy is not a very good NFL prospect.
