As reported by ESPN Vince Young recently started interviewing agents about the "possibility" of coming out early. This guy is going to be on the board and hopefully someone (not us) will want him and maybe we can trade down a pick or two and pick up a 4th or 5th rounder. For the same reason Young is likely to come out, the new CBA agreement limiting guaranteed money for rookies, we might also be looking at the possiblity of Quinn coming out early too. *crosses fingers*

Would you really be all too upset to have Vince as our quarterback? He is head and shoulder above anything that we have had since Marino. He is also a true double threat to run or pass. Cutler would be my first choice for value and ability but Leinart, Quinn, Young or Cutler would make me ecstatic!

Agreed. Young is much more than anything we have had in since the imortal, but I don't know that we would have a chance if he did come out...
Also, not that strange that he is contacting agents. If I was in his shoes, I would be weighing and guaging all options right now...

Even if we lose every game from this Sunday on, we will still be too far out of the Vince Young race. We will probably be drafting in the 10 to 12 range. What really pisses me off is we have such a crapy season but we are still way out of the race for Leinart,Bush,Young, Ferguson...and so on. If I had my choice I'd rather be picking in the 25 to 30 range every year because that would mean we are playing strong football.
However if we have to be picking so high I would rather pick in the top two knowing we may have had a bad season but we will be in prime position to take or trade one of the best players in the nation.

I hope he does declare so someone else will take him (ie waste a pick on him) and it will be easier for us to go after a REAL QB, preferably Cutler (or Quinn if he declares)

Imagine this comes into play....... More experienced and Much improved O Line + Ronnie with a year under his belt + Ricky getting his groove back and sticking around + VINCE YOUNG who could take off at any time!

Move over Atlanta....... the 2006 Rushing Leaders are the Miami Dolphins!

What a force that would be!~

At the start of the college season I wanted him, but not anymore. I'd rather take Vick, I know he's not on Young's level yet but I tihnk eventually he will be the best NFL QB out of Young, Jacobs, Vick. But with that said my first choice would be Leinart, then Quinn, then Vick or Cutler.

the love fest for an undeveloped QB is astonishing.

1.The Big 12 SUCKS
2.UT's playbook is a shot gun, and then Young decides whether to pass or run.
3.The BIG 12 REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!

When OU was actually good, Young stuggled against them, badly. He's gone up against horrible defenses in the Big 12. Consider this, the best CB in the Big 12 goes to Kansas.

Also if your watching this disgrace of a game (Big 12 Championship), all of Youngs passes are lobs down field to 6'6 WRs that are going against CBs that wouldn't be starters on WAC Teams.

Vince is a talented player, but if we want a franchise QB, we get a QB.

They said on ABC today, he reiterated today that he IS coming back for one more year at Texas. I don't know I'd rather listen to what he says, then some speculation by ESPN, who btw we always disagree with.

Bank on the fact that Bush, Quinn, "and" Young come out. The only reason Leinart didn't come out last year is because he needed surgery for his shoulder. Other than that he was going to come out. Heck...he was slated to be the #1 pick! But when he found out he needed surgery, he realized that A.Smith, R.Brown, and B.Edwards could jump ahead of him and he could find himself in a A.Rodgers situation...so he stayed. This is not the case with Bush, Quinn, and Young...they are all but guaranteed top 5 status.

Young will stay, besided we dont need 3 RBs, if we want a RB who can throw we might as well ty to trade for LT.

lol, no way is he interviewing agents. period
and he's not good

Its not up for debate, it is fact! HE IS INTERVIEWING AGENTS! That doesn't mean he's coming out it means he's weighing his options. I don't know why you believe him, many many more players have said they were staying in school and left than players who said they were staying and stayed.
