Great to hear
living in rochester its been all over the news.
Feel real bad about what he and his family are going through!!!

Dan Marino was and is nothing but class....... And still the greatest QB to ever step on a football field.
 
I feel for him, and will continue to pray for him and his family...

I hope Jim Kelly beats this cancer and Dan and Jim have many more years to laugh and brag.
Jim Kelly was a great QB for the Miami Hurricanes. You could see that greatness then. When the Bills aquired him from the Houston Gamblers, I knew that we would have problems with the Bills.
I learned to hate him for all the critical losses that kept us out of superbowls. That hate was due to tremendous respect as a player.
He didn't have the stats, but he just made the plays that won games. He is one of the NFL great QB's for winning percentage. That is all you can ask for in a QB.
Praying for a complete recovery.
 
Marino and Kelly have long been friends, even going back to when they were on the field playing against each other. Fans look at players on other teams as the enemy, but players very often don't look at it that way outside of the actual game. I seem to recall Marino, Kelly, and some other quarterbacks forming some kind of club (might have been an investment thing) back in their playing days. I remember hearing something about it like 20 or so years ago but I don't recall the details. Anyone remember what that was about?

It might have been a 'Irvin House" of relaxation...complete with plenty of beautiful ladies...
 
I think it had something to do with autism since they both have a son that's autistic

does that include the affair he was having with another woman and fostered a love child with and was found out after clair [his wife of a zillion years and mother of his 29 children] found correspondence between the two?

and there was BIG TIME hush money paid out here and there that kept the affair from coming out on a few occasions according to the press.

i love danny the qb as much as anyone. there were always a lot of rumors swirling found him about different things when he was playing. especially the way he treated a lot of fans. and of course, i thought it was all bills fans planting dirt on saint danny. not so sure now. not so in love with danny the person as i am with danny the miami dolphins qb.

hey, what he did was bad, real bad. but that does not deserve him a death sentence, but dan marino "was and is nothing but class", well....... he missed that mark by a long shot.

A mistake here and there does not make a man. Even a bad one.

No, this was way back, very early in their careers and it involved a bunch of quarterbacks, not just Marino and Kelly.
