Hey guys. Wanted your opinion on something.
We're strongly considering raising the price of VIP membership dues to $36 per year.
In short, the VIP forum has been a great success. It has grown very quickly with pretty much all the "right" people joining. That's well and good. But we also have a responsibility to keep that forum in good working order. And that means keeping the riff raff out and keeping the forum exclusive.
With the free agency and the draft right around the corner, we anticipate a bit of a surge in registration. So we'd like to curb growth just a bit, keeping the borderline "unwanted's" out while not rendering membership unattainable to those who really appreciate it.
The easiest way to do this is by raising the price. We're proposing an immediate jump from $24 to $36. But in doing so, we'd like to offer a little something more.
We're currently working on a welcome package beyond the bumper sticker A.J. mails out to new VIPs, as well as some long-term benefits. I'd elaborate, but I'll let A.J. offer those details, since he's the one handling that part of this thing.
That's all for now. I'm probably leaving something out. But time has gotten away from me and I've gotta manage some dinner before Subway closes.
