I need a few volunteers that live in the Northern VA/Washington D.C. area to participate in the drawing for the raffle! I had a couple but have not heard back from them!:tantrum:

3 would be nice... But the more the merrier! phinMikeDC has volunteered already! The next 3 that PM me, will also have their drinks paid for by me!!! And this also means just YOUR drinks... Not your dates' if you bring one!!! You also need to be at least 21 if you expect to drink alcohol!

I plan to have the drawing no later than Friday night, August 11th. Once I get the first 3 PMs, I will work with you all to find a common ground and a good evening to do the drawing!!!

Thanks for the support guys!!!

I'm claiming ignorance.

I live in TX, but, I'm always up for a good cause.

I see a combat jump there, and, I assume that's real, and, not just a
cool avatar.

Check that...dress wings... I'm used to recognizeing the Mustard stain.
Where I was we didn't dress up much. We were too busy doing our country's buisness. I have that as Combat jump or Jumpmaster :D Either one has my respect.

(Displaying my ignorance....I'm not used to dress airborne stuff. most of those guys wore subdued in my units)

If it's for our guys, I'd love to help. Please IM me with the info.

Thanks for the offer GoonBoss... But I am going to need people on site for this so that everyone knows it was a legit drawing.

Yes, the wings are real... Had to go to the 1st SGT's office to get the blood wings in Benning though... Grenada...

FIN, Friday's not a great night for me, but any other night, my girlfriend is also willing to participate as a "totally impartial" witness. :) I'd rather do it on Wednesday or Thursday if we can. Hope you get some responses soon.

Yeah, I spent some serious time in GRAF bubba!!! Usually OCTOBER to MARCH!!! 4 weeks at a time in tent city... Of those 4 weeks, 1 week total in the tents, the rest on the range... Shoot, move and communicate!!!

We could drop a 185 pound bullet on a target 20+ miles away (34 Clicks) with an accuracy of +/- 15 feet... I was in the 3rd ID in Germany...

OLD? Yep, I guess that I am... But my gun was the best on the line!!! I held the record for the fastest at pulling tail of 6!

As of '93 there were concrete billets. There was a theatre.....and a PX....

It's still a different world from main post, but, It's actually nice.

I wouldn't know.unless I saw it against my will. I was drinking coffee in the training office of the Health Clinic. :dolphins:
