Up to this point, I had not noticed this guy. While Traylor has been the talk of the town when since arriving Holiday is slowly showing his worth. Holiday was in the backfield several times against the Jets. He looked like a beast Sunday. Hopefully he will stay consistent, and the we just need one more consistent DT.

91 played big. His desire and talent are showing up in games. I'd like to see a little more from Carter although he did have a monster play against the Jets.

Yeah, I agree...I did notice him more on Sunday compared to against Denver, but he and the rest of the DL slacked off some in the second half at NY...Of course, it was because the Jests made some adjustments to their offense and controlled the LOS better in that half...

I hope Holliday continues to "show up"...we'll need him with the way our O is playing..

We need another Pass Rushing DE
b/c if JT not rush the passer

there no presure!at all.

Bowens has displayed an average pass rushing ability, I think alot of credit goes to the offense's focus on JT, leaves things a bit easier for Bowens. Similar to the Ogunleye situation.

Can we give Roth more rotation in, to see if he can do better then Bowens?

Sometimes great DT's go unnoticed.
How many years did it take for T.Bo to get his due?
Saban did a great job reshaping the D personnel

Holiday is not a "great" DT - but he is playing well right now. He looks slimmer than I remember him being

The best indicator of how well a DT plays is not penetration into the backfield or sacks. Watch the linebackers. When you see Zach engaged by an offensive lineman it usually means the DT missed him. In most modern defenses the DTs block for the linebackers very similar to the way an offensive guard blocks for a running back. This allows the linebackers to be active, flow from sideline to sideline and shoot gaps. Our DTs played very well against Denver, struggled a little more against the Jets but still played well.

Really? He looks much bigger than he was in Green Bay.
