Where do you see him on the 08' Miami Dolphins? I can see him playing DE and moving J. Taylor to OLB in the 3-4. Remember V. Holliday played DE in GB & KC. Do you see V. Holliday playing with us at all? He is now 32yr. old and signed a 4yr./$20M deal on 2/21/07 Your thoughts?

i say yes, he has great size for the position and he seems to have been fairly effective, no more then 2 more years though....btw your making like 3 threads a day might wanna save some for Free agency. haha

he is still a good player and i think he is a positive figure in the locker room...prob has 2-3 yrs left

We need all of the quality defensive players we can get. He's one of the few we have, so he'll definitely be playing somewhere on the line.

I have a lot of questions! haha. Free agency is another story. Some of my threads may seem stupid but they mean well.

I would say he will play the same position he has played since he got to Miami, 3-4 DE, 4-3 DT. I like Vonnie, he is a keeper for sure. Good locker room guy as well. His injuries this year played a big part in our issues stopping the run. But I do like Rod Wright as his backup.

Yes. He will be our Richard Seymour. U all saw how great he played last season when he was healthy and Traylor played like a starting NT should. He was a huge part of MIA tying with SEA for the league lead in sacks last year. Many said that Vonnie Holiday should have made the Pro Bowl too. That's the reason MIA signed him to that extension.

This year he was hurt in the beginning of the season and Traylor was not playing the way he was last season.

yea, i dont have directv but i found a sweet little dolphins fan bar that me and the old man go to every weekend. there's probably similar sports bars in your area that theyll let you in to watch the games if your not 21. as long as your buyin somethin they dont care.

I hope we have :
3-4: Wright, Dorsey, Holliday front 3
JT, ILB draft pick, Crowder, JPorter linebackers
4-3: Wright, Dorsey, Holliday, JT front 4
Crowder, ILB draft pick, JPorter linebackers

with Roth, Soliai, Moses, Abe Wright, Spragan, Pope and Fifita providing depth (for now)

We should not get rid of Holliday.

I want to trade him.I don't like his mouth. He had way too much to say this last year and he didn't do anything. Granted, he broke his ankle, but I'd rather get younger at the position and I am a huge Trevor Laws fan.
