Vonnie Holliday?

nothin yet. he'll get picked by someone before the season starts. hopefully it won't be a team that we play - he was not happy about the release.
 
Injury takes place and Vonnie is on a roster, just hope not our, because I like our young DLman.
 
Heh, not^ a good reason to NOT want Holliday - if they cannot beat him out, they don't deserve to be on the field.

Holliday was a solid veteran player for us.
 
once the packers and broncos realize they need different lineman to switch to the
3-4 he'll probably get picked up...or else by someone with an injury
 
i really liked holliday. But we need youth, esp on the D-Line, and we def needed to save a few bucks for those safety signings.
 
I'm a quite suprised that noone has picked him up, yet, a lot of teams have question marks all over the DL, and Vonnie can play in a 3-4 and 4-3. But I'm quite shure that once TC-s kick off, and the big guys get injured, he will find a team. I wish him all the best, always liked him, even if he likes to talk a bit too much for my taste :)

i think i read he had some trouble with one of his knees and wanted that to heal first. i could be totally off though.

That would definitely be interesting if he ended up back in Green Bay.

They cut him because the team believed that Merling and Langford are better to be full time starters. They showed great flashes last season and are very young options.

Plus, Holiday wouldn't take a pay cut and was scheduled to make a lot of dough in 2009. They also replaced him on the roster after they traded for McDaniel.
 
I'm really surprise this guy isn't signed to one of the 3-4 transition teams.
 
I know Holiday is not happy with the phins but I would have liked to see him hang around 1 more year. Dotson was IR in college and the same for the kid we got from the JAGs he has been nurt off and on the last 3 years. Both young guys are talented but IR prone. I am not sure of the MO on Randy Starks and then you a guy a like but I do no beleive will make the roster the kid from Texas Rod Wright who was not activated until the last game
 
been a weird off season where alot of decent players have not been able to find work
