I'm of the belief that Vonnie Holiday should have made the Pro-Bowl. I mean the guy leads the interior linemen in tackles and is 2nd in sacks. How does that not get you to the Pro-Bowl?

That's not right. What do you guys think?

I thought the same thing but Warren Sapp also got snubbed and so did John Henderson I guess you have to hope that some of the other defensive tackles won't show up and see if Holliday will be an alternate.

No, not really. He's not a top DT. He just put up good sack numbers in a very blitz heavy team playing 1-gap next to Jason Taylor.

He plays darn well considering he's 275 pounds. But he's not a Pro Bowler.

Keith Traylor was the interior guy who should have made the Pro Bowl.....last year.

You don't need to be a top player to make you just need to have an above average season to make it and he did say he leads interior linemen in tackles and is second in sacks but not everyone can make it.

a pro bowl year would probably kill any chance of re-signing him
Good point but I'm not sure if they are going to re-sign him anyways.

i thought the same thing. When you look purely at his numbers he should have made it, but i don't think he is really a pro bolwer. O lines have so much else to deal with. He very good, but not that good. Plus the pro bowl is a popularity contest

Didn't he make it to the Pro Bowl as a defensive end in Green Bay in his final year there?

I still feel he deserved to go. Whether he plays next to JT or not. He gets those stats by playing hard and working hard. You could say the same thing about other players that get good stats. Wayne plays next to Harrison with Peyton throwin the ball. Amongst others.

Uh, what? 6 Defensive Tackles made it to the Pro Bowl. There are 64 starting DT positions in the league.

By top player I thought you meant that they are more known by the fans but if you go by statistics then this year Vonnie Holliday was a top player and had Miami been in the playoff race he probably would have made it.

I dont see what Casey Hampton and Seymoure did to make it over Henderson, Holliday and Sapp, but who cares the Pro Bowl means nothing, what matters is their play in the 50 continental states not Hawaii.

Ty Warren deserved it more then Seymour and the reason him and Hampton got in were because they play for more popular teams and are bigger names.
