Whats keller got to do with leach?

We didnt sign a fb... Oh well
 
I knew there'd be a thread like this...ravens are more downhill running game than Miami...he caught a like 2 yard throw in the flat when the d forgot about him for a td...congrats
 
He's pretty much a one dimensional FB in an aspect of the game that
is rapidly going away in terms of efficiency. You see how much good
he did the Ravens. For the amount of money he was supposedly asking
for, to what he brings to the table, to his age, I don't have any regrets
not signing him.

He averages 10 catches a year. That TD he scored last night? 1/5 of
his CAREER TDs. He's good at what he does; Being a lead blocker. But
lets call him what he is; Cornfed in the backfield.
 
It would have been nice to have him as a luxury.. but IMO, possibly unlike Keller, his absence or inclusion would not likely impact our season. :idk:

Aside: Can't wait for Marlon Moore to catch a pass from Kaep
 
Dolphins have more pressing needs than FB.

I'd rather reserve the cash for a vet O-Lineman or LB in case of injury.
 
he was asking to much for what he does. plain and simple. Sherman and co. will utilize Clay as a fullback.

The pure fullback is a luxury these days. I love me some VL..Don't get me wrong. FB is probably
my most favorite position in football.

BUT

He wasn't in our plans. He has never, ever ripped off a catch and run like Clay did.

Now, Clay is lacking in lots of areas, jack of all trades type of guy, but,
this is the new age of football. If you can afford an archaic player for
over market value, good on you.
