Vontae Davis brother arrested and suspected of murder

Holy ****...I live in the DC area and these attacks/murders have been all over the news the past few days. I cannot believe the suspect is the younger brother of Vontae/Vernon Davis. That is crazy!

Swear to God, was reading the Sun Sentinel and Omar's tweet with that exact title flashed at the top. I threw up my arms and immediately thought of what I'd do tonight instead of watching the draft because I'm so disgusted.

If guilty, the only thing getting turned around is his body so that his cellmates can enjoy him at their discretion.

I know you don't mean to come off sounding like you're relieved Vontae wasn't the one who killed an innocent person as if it makes the situation any better.
 
Vontae's tweet is a little surprising... Usually people say something like "No way my little bro was involved in this terrible incident." Odd...

I live in the state with the nation's highest incarceration rate. Sorry if I'm a little numb to the murder stories. It sucks, but nothing I can do about it. I'm relieved that what I thought I read at first isn't true in that one of the few cornerstones for my favorite team isn't going to jail.
 
a tiny bit off topic but I just noticed Vontae is 23 years old. He will be 24 in may but to me it just seems like forever when we drafted him. I know he isn't old but for some reason I thought he was 25 or 26. Pretty awesome that he still has a ton of room to grow.

He was 20 when we drafted him, He has alot of potential still
