At least we know going foward that we have 2 corners.

Vontae played great against moss. Most of the time it was one on one.

Now the trifecta has to get henne some weapons. He has the arm but noone to throw to. Golden Tate + a big time free agent WR.
 
Vontae showed signs of being great in this league. Obviously, he did get beat by Randy a few times, that 70 yard play most notably. But that's what happens when you put single coverage on a HOF receiver that happens to still be playing, against a rookie corner.

And Sean Smith is starting to piss me off. I like the guy, but every pass his way seems to be complete..

I think Smith looked good to .. Remember hes a rook covering Welker. Dont know about you guys but there are not many corners in the NFL that dont have problems with Welker either

Did you watch the damn game? He got that pick against Randy Moss, thrown by Tom Brady. He almost had another in the endzone too. The parts where he got abused, well, that was expected today.

Is this a joke? You have got to be kidding me. I guess your standards are incredibly high because what the hell do you expect a rookie CB to do against a HOF WR? Oh, right Moss wasn't supposed to get any catches.:rolleyes2:

I like what I've seen from Chris Clemons so far, as well. If we could ever generate a pass rush, this secondary could end up being very, very good.
 
He stayed on Moss ok. He had a couple penalties and got beat a few times. But that's expected for a rookie going against Moss.
