wow im glad ronnies up there but in a way, gotta feel for Thomas jones. Guy has single-handedly won games for the jets this year and and he's not even getting more votes than ronnie, a player who splits carries with Ricky.
Ronnies 5 TD performance is still well in the minds of most nfl fans im sure.
The question is who is the best RB in the AFC East, not who has the most yards or has the best performance this year or whatever.
Do you two honestly think Thomas Jones is better than Ronnie? I don't, Jones is a journeyman RB who is good, but Brown is the best in the group.
Done, Ronnie is winning!
Thomas Jones is a journeyman? You do realize he is on pace for his 4th straight 1000 yard season. I think you need to look up the word journeyman no offense
def-a competent and reliable but unexceptional performer or exponent of something
Ronnie will actually have to pick up the pace to even break a 1000 yards for the second time in his career.
Drafted 1st by the Arizona Cardinals then picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers then the Chicago Bears and then the New York Jets. This is looking classic journeyman to me. The guy is 30 years old and is not a better RB than Ronnie Brown.
If you want to compare numbers here they are:
Brown's first year he ended up with 907 yards his 2nd with 1,008 yards
Jones first year he ended with 373 yards his 2nd with 380 yards
In his 3rd year Ronnie had 602 yards in 7 games.
In his 3rd year Jones had 511 yards in 9 games.
I restate my Point Brown is the better runing back in the AFC East.
what does what Jones did three years ago have to do with what he is doing this year and the previous 3. who is having the better year. Jones averages more per carry, has more yards and his td's are slightly below Ronnie's. Do you vote the probowl based on what a player did 4 years ago? If that's the case then Kurt warner does not deserve to be in the pro bowl .
